In ancient Goreyo there was 3 ranking system among the spouse of Emperor in harem
1. Empress( To being empress the spouse must have to give birth of a crown prince).

2. Able consort: legally married to Emperor and only one in number. After Empress the ranking belongs to able consort. Able consort is higher than concubines,but lower than empress.

3. Concubine: Concubines had ranking system in between them according to their household. They are married to Emperor by rituals,but regards as lower than legally married able consort. By giving birth to prince, there's way for them to be empress or able consort.

Prince of a small powerless province named " Yongsan."

The great Emperor of Goreyo.

Have gained the thorn at the age of 25.

Before him it was his mother to rule the kingdom.

Prince of D.O. household from Donghee( another powerful province of Goreyo).

Queen Mother Park

She has rule the whole Kingdom in strong hand after death of Chanyeol's father Emperor Park in a war.

Her position is more strong to general people than his son.

She has a lot influence on Emperor Chanyeol.

Prince Sehun

Second prince of Goreyo.

Although Chanyeol has several opponent princes from step mothers,the only prince allowed to stay in palace is Sehun.

Sehun is still queen mother's baby boy.
