Four Legged Footsteps

Minseok takes the baby princess from crib. Taking the baby in arm, Minseok removes the baby's sucking thumb from her mouth. The baby holds Minseok's finger with her tiny hand.

Nowadays he uses to come in east wing of concubines' palace a lot just to get glimpse of these twins. Taking the babies in arm has turned  competitive as queen mother, Kyungsoo and Luhan also comes everyday to get glimpse and spend time with royal twins.

"Have you thought of any name for the babies yet?" Minseok rocks the baby in his arm.

"Not yet. Queen mother was saying to start selection process after the solar eclipse. Your highness is thinking to keep something related to former royal successors. If you have any suggestion , you can let her know, able consort Kim," Baekhyun smiles.

Kyungsoo gives death glare to the Minseok who tries to make the baby to sleep.

As Minseok leaves , Kyungsoo can't help resist to talk what he was thinking,"Don't let Minseok hyung to get closer to babies. He never does anything that doesn't goes in his favour."

Returning back to own wing of palace , Minseok finds our his aunt, Kim Hae Jin, waiting for him who has recently become head of Kim household. For the first time Kim household has taken leadership of a female,after dead of former head of household,Kim Myung Jae.

"Aunt, why you are here?" Minseok doesn't become happy seeing her. This time they had nothing to do because of that guardian golden snake of Baekhyun. The snake's all-time presence was the main reason of failure in effective spying and sabotaging to harm pregnant Baekhyun.

"Is that not my responsibility to take care of my precious nephew? Where were you? I have come for pretty long time here," Hae Jin smiles evilly.

"In east wing. Maintaining distance will make others to feel that I am not happy on birth of royal twins . So, trying to get along with concubine Byun," Minseok explains hiding his frown.

"Ah! I will like to go too. But I heard concubine Byun's wing has turned into shelter of stray cats," Hae complaints as she has allergy to furry things.

"Your majesty has adopted those stray cats as royal pets. Those are concubine Byun's pets."

"Why he won't?Concubine Byun's personality matches with those stray cats. Who likes to have sex shamelessly infront everyone like disgusting cats. His pets gives birth to dozens of trashes and he has started by giving birth of twins. At this rate he will end up giving birth to dozens of trashes."

Because of solar eclipse the festival won't happen in this month,but palace has unofficially started taking preparation for future festival. It was a long day, Baekhyun went to walk for sometimes in garden . His body has still not recovered from the changes occured during pregnancy. Physician Yixing had advised him for gentle walk in morning and evening.

Baekhyun misses few of his  heartbeats noticing the blood stain on the corridor leading to special room prepared for babies. The more he steps forward the blood stained footprint of something having four legs becomes more prominent.

Baekhyun almost runs towards the room, the white silk curtains which have been used to decorate this room are also having scattered strains of blood and the footsteps are more prominent with red blood in this room.

Baekhyun tries to scream finding the cribs empty,but his dry throat doesn't produce any sound.

Baekhyun's foot suddenly steps on something sticky soft things under the crib.

Baekhyun screams noticing the crushed dead body of golden snake in pool of it's own blood under the baby cribs.
