"Is that all?" Baekhyun asks as chief monk just starts to explain the ritual.
"Your highness, it's gonna be bit hard for your . As you have to leave royal palace on the day of full moon. Everyone is not allowed to enter in the main portion of temple,even not the chief monk without any urgent condition. It's written in several old monk's journal that there's a biggest natural dragon statue with illuminating spikes in whole body. There's also a natural fountain inside this temple. There's myth that sometimes dragon goddess comes herself through the fountain from heaven to receive worship. The year she comes ,the state floods with blessings. The thing you have to do is worship. We, monks, will accompany you up to temple door. The full moon will persist up to 3 days. Any time of these days your soul will be replaced by the goddess."
"3 days? 3 days are so long for someone to stay there," Baekhyun stops the monk.
"Your highness,this is the way to do. There's nothing to fear ,even if none is allowed to enter except the representative.Your majesty will take steps not to make you suffer a bit and remember there's nothing to fear inside temple."

Sitting infront emperor Chanyeol , Baekhyun feels strange. Chanyeol didn't send him any message of coming here.
"Baekhyun, three days are too long to stay alone there. Are you obvious that you will do that?" Chanyeol asks in anxious voice.
"What I need further when your majesty is so concerned about me? You don't have to be worried about me," Baekhyun replies in low voice.
Chanyeol holds hands of Baekhyun," I don't want to make you forced to do it. It's okay ,if you don't want."
"I am okay with everything," Baekhyun replies without changing tone of voice.
"You have changed," Chanyeol says suddenly making Baekhyun startled.
"Me? I can't change people and situation around me. Only thing I can change is myself. If I am changed, that's just to adjust myself. But if your majesty is uncomfortable with me,I can do whatever he wants," Baekhyun says with smile.
"Is anything hurting you, Baekhyun?" Chanyeol suddenly feels guilty. He should take care of Baekhyun. But situation always makes everything hard for him.
" No... Nothing..."
"Stay with me in my palace."
"But your majesty,we can't have pshysical relationship until the ritual.The monk said..." Baekhyun shutters.
"I am not saying you for that, Baekhyun. Does my 'stay with me' sounds like have physical relationship with me? Can you then stay beside me?You don't have to stay in same room with me. I just want to make myself assured that you are well served," Chanyeol suddenly feels awkward. He can understand that Baekhyun thinks he only wants Baekhyun for physical relationship.
"I am being served well here." But Baekhyun's speech gets interrupted hearing some scratching sound with soft mewling sound from outside.
"What's that?" Chanyeol asks with bigger eyes. "Eunuch Jo... Eu.." Chanyeol starts to call the eunuch,but Baekhyun covers Chanyeol's mouth with his hand.
"They are my babies.... My baby cats,"
"Cats? Who dares to let them live inside concubines' palace?" Chanyeol feels pointless,but keeps talking .
"Your majesty,those are stray cats. They only comes in terrace,not inside. Today it's got late to give them bowl of milk . The new babies are just so impatient, that's why they were searching for me," Baekhyun says without taking breath. He is afraid Chanyeol will say to take away those cats from this palace.
"Really?" Chanyeol stands up and goes near the door. Opening the door it reveals four small cats. Getting the door open,they tries to go inside. But Baekhyun stops them.
"I don't let them come inside," Baekhyun is now sweating while holding the four babies in his hands. They are really so small. Their constant mewl sound seems adorable to Chanyeol.
"But seems like you have more guests waiting outside," Chanyeol indicates the cats outside.
"They don't come inside," Baekhyun tries to defend,but Chanyeol stops him by kissing.
"Is kissing allowed before ritual?" Baekhyun panics.
"Eunuch..." Chanyeol was about to call eunuch ,but Baekhyun stops him.
"What you will say to eunuch ? I will later ask the monk," Baekhyun feels his cheek is gonna be so warm. He doesn't want to let Chanyeol see him blushing. But Chanyeol makes it easy for him. He tickles head of one of kittens and says,
"Your cats are really adorable like you."

On the fixed day, Baekhyun takes time to prepare himself . Although he is behaving like he doesn't care,but still he feels bit afraid inside.
No fragrance or essence is allowed. Only lotus flower petals have been used in his bath waters. The natural fragrance of lotus is giving different type of aura.
Baekhyun checks himself in mirror. The white silk robe with golden embroidered dragon and lotus has suited him so much. The maids have made Baekhyun to wear a crown with symbol of dragon goddess.
While looking at mirror, suddenly Baekhyun notices the figure coming from behind.
"You majesty," Baekhyun bows turning towards Chanyeol.
" I will keep maids and guards ready outside the temple. If ever you feel anything is going wrong ,just try to give us sign. Take care of yourself, Baek."
"Baek?" Baekhyun surprises at Chanyeol's new given name.
Chanyeol just keeps silence looking at the eyes of Baekhyun.
"You are looking so different," suddenly Chanyeol talks.
Baekhyun smiles . He doesn't know why he feels he is going to have feelings for Chanyeol again. Chanyeol escorts Baekhyun towards the palanquin. Baekhyun hesitates a bit looking at back.
"Your majesty,I haven't yet said any maid to take care of my cats."
"I will order the eunuch to take care of them, okay?"
"Okay," Baekhyun steps towards the palanquin happily . Chanyeol feels upset as Baekhyun is worried about cats only, but not about Chanyeol.
Before entering the palanquin, Baekhyun turns back and says,"Take care of yourself, your majesty."
Chanyeol hugs Baekhyun suddenly. Baekhyun feels Chanyeol arms to hold him tight. After few moments Chanyeol loosen the hug and helps Baekhyun to ride the palanquin.
Through the transparent curtain of palanquin , Baekhyun can see crowded people and can hear the cheers of general people of Goreyo.
The representative of dragon goddess is going to bring rain for them.
