The Arrival

The world swirled around Alpha. He was falling!
'Oh, why did I have to choose this way of suicide...' he thought. 'Why did I have to jump off a cliff...'
As he closed his eyes and waited for the impact, a portal opened under him.
Then he fell into darkness...
He was lying face down in a forest. The misty cool air brightened his senses. He jumped to his feet and looked around. Around him were trees, with sunlight shining from the canopy. Sitting at his feet was a small yellow crystal that he reconized as a revive.
'Where am I?' He wondered. He looked down at his feet. To his horror, his human legs were replaced with blue webbed feet! He looked at his hands and sure enough, they were webbed too.
'I'm an amphibian? ' He thought. To the right of him was a small pond. He walked, slowly on his two legs. They were surely unstable. Suddenly, he tripped and fell. Getting up, this time he walked on four legs and tottered curiously to the edge.
The reflection surprised him. He was not only an amphibian, he was a Froakie, a pokemon! To his knowledge pokemon were like animals in his world, but here he was one! Seeing his appearance, he tried something special. Opening his mouth, he tried firing water as a water pokemon. To his amusement, he could really shoot 'water' but it came out as bubbles. He remembered the move as Bubble.
It was at this time that he heard a rustling noise in the bushes. He turned around to face the noise, preparing a Bubble attack. What he saw surprised him.
