Shadow Power?

'Hey, Alpha? Wake up.' Anubis's voice woke me up. With difficulty I got out of bed and looked at the time.
'It's 3:30 in the morning. Why do I need to wake up?'
' Come with me quietly. We're going to see Todd.'
We exited our cabin and walked down to the dojo.
'Why do we need to see Todd?'
'Remember that melting into shadow move of yours? I want to check with Todd that move you did.'
We walked in silence after that. The Resistance was mostly asleep, except for the workers moving in goods for the day.
We peeked over the piece of cloth at the dojo's doors, and Todd was sittng there as a Greninja.
'Oh, hi, Anubis. You said to meet you at 4?'
'Yes. I have something to ask you.'
'Go ahead.'
'Alpha literally melted into shadows when he was attacked by a Graveller in a mystery dungeon. What was that?'
'Hmm. Let me think.' Todd morphed into a Alakazam.' Oh! I know.'
He whispered something into Anubis's ear. Anubis's eyes widened in realization.
'Alpha, what do you think a ninja needs most?' Anubis asked.
'Umm, stealth?'
'That's right! As you are bound to be a ninja, you can learn the move Shadow Sneak, which enables you to move in shadows of anything. Normally your species would learn it at the first-stage evolution, but your body apperently did the move when you were in danger. As a result, you have now learned the move!'
I was in shock and joy at the moment.
'I learned a new move earlier than others? That's umm...'
'Of course excellent! Now show Todd how you did it.'
I walked over to a shadow cast by a wall, willing my body to 'melt' into the shadows. It didn't work. I looked helplessly over at Todd who had turned into a Greninja.
'You need to make your body feel like it's shrinking.'
I tried again, fully bathed in the shadow. This time it worked. I felt myself shrinking and melting into a shadow. When I looked down at my body, I couldn't see anything. And the looks on Todd's and Anubis's faces meant that I had succeded.
I tried to walk in the shadows, but felt nothing under my 'feet'. I was gliding across the shadow! Then, I tried to'walk' out of the shadow. When I touched light, I popped into existence again.

'Excellent!' Todd exclaimed. I had been training from 4 to 6 to fully grasp the uses of this move. I could now go into shadows freely, prepare any move and then materialize and attack.
'It's time to go, Alpha.' Anubis said.
'Ok then. Bye Todd!' I said as we exited the dojo.
When we got back to our cabin, Ember approached us excitely.
'Look at what Marsek gave us!'
He waved his hand towards the big table. On in were a jumble of items.
Anubis picked one up and uttered on word,'Wow.'
The items were really training items, from Power Anklet to Macho Brace.
'These are very expensive, aren't they?' asked Palm.
'Yes, they are. Marsek must have been feeling very sorry for you two.'
Anubis answered.
'Now, follow me. We have something to do.'
We followed Anubis with curiosity.
Anubis took us down to the scond floor. He entered a office that read "Reward Office".
'Now, take the Reward that you gained from the mission. Anubis said.
We took it out and gave it to him.
'Every time you get a reward, 25% will be given to the Resistance to support it's finances. As this time you gained 500 pokecoins, so you will give $125 to the Resistance.' Anubis explained while counting out 125pokecoins.
We registered the coins to a Meowth at a desk. Anubis filled in the form for our team and gave it to us. On it was a large unfilled table, with our first mission written on the top slot.
'Every time you finish a mission, fill in this form. You can choose to give the 25% share for several missions at once or just give it one by one. Don't forget to fill it in, otherwise you would be giving 75% of the whole amount.'
We nodded and took the form, along with a checkboard up to our cabin.
Since we had used up half a day, there was no time for a whole mission.
Instead, Anubis left us and let us walk around the facility.
After we spilt up, I walked to the canteen to grab a snack. When I arrived there, there wasn't anyone except for a Swampert and a Mudkip.
The Swampert noticed me and asked with a friendly tone,'Hi! Are you part of a Resistance Team?'
'Yes, I am.'
'Excellent! My son Finn here wants to join a team here. Can you accept him?'
'Yes, of course!'
'Thank you very much! Now Finn go on and pursue your dream. I will be waiting at home for you anytime!'
'Thanks dad!' The mudkip yipped.
'See you soon!'
'So, lets get you registered to our team.' I said to our new teammate, Finn.
I got him registered to our team and we went to see the other two.
Ember's POV
I was walking down the market road while Alpha got up to me.
'What's up?'
'A new teammate!'
'Is it the mudkip?'
'Yes!' Alpha said, gesturing to the mudkip,'This is Finn.'
'Nice to meet you!' Finn said happily.
Then Palm came running up.
'New teammate?' He asked us
We nodded.
Afterwards for the day we took him to see Anubis, then register him under our team's name and gave him a backpack. Lastly we brought him to Todd to see his moves.
'So, Finn here is a pretty well-trained mudkip here. He knows Water Gun, Mud-Slap, all of the normals, but he also knows Hammer Arm and Muddy Water, which are normally learnt by Swampert. I guess Finn was trained by his father, wasn't you?'
Finn nodded.
'Great! You'll be a great teammate!' Palm exclaimed.
With that done, we took Finn back to our cabin.
