Mission Complete

Just before the explosion, I felt myself becoming a shadow. 'Is this what it feels to be a ghost sprit?' I wondered. Then I felt myself merging into a solid again. I felt something heavy in my arms before falling into darkness.
'Alpha? Alpha?' Anubis's worried voice woke me up. With one hand I reached up feebly.
'Thank God you're all right! We were so worried about you!' Here, take these berries and eat them.'
I swallowed the berries with difficulty. I could feel my strength being restored.
'What happened?' I muttered.
'Just as the Graveler exploded, you seemed to melt into the shadows, taking Ember too and therefore you two got away from the attack!' Palm answered excitedly.
'What about the Power Anklet?' I asked.
'Palm found it when I was waiting for you to wake up.' Palm waved the item in front of my eyes.
I breathed a sigh of relief. Our first mission had been a success, although with some pain.
'So, let's get out of here.' Anubis said.
We got out of the dungeon, with Anubis carrying me.
Rocky Town
'Thanks for all your help! You helped me save a lot of money by buying a new one!' Marsek the Hitmonlee said as he gracefully accepted the Power Anklet from Palm. Then he noticed me and Ember. 'What happened to these two fellows? They seem to be injured.'
'Oh, they ran into a monster house in the dungeon. They were badly hurt by a Graveller. '
'Oh! I'm very sorry for your injuries! It's my fault that I lost the Power Anklet in the dungeon. Here, take this set of Training Items. I hope you recover soon!'
We accepted the box and with a final apology from Marsek, we left the town and went on the journey back home.
