Next day
'WAKE UP!' Anubis's voice rang my ears. Growing customed to the shout, I immediately jumped out of bed.
While we were having our breakfast, a Abra appeared and gave a note to Anubis. He read it and his expression tightened.
'Well, guys, I can't accompany you today. You see, The Resistance is having a standoff with the Master's forces at Spire Canyon, a borderline place between the territories of the sides. Today, we got information on how the enemy would stage an surprise attack, so the Resistance is ordering all teams of Ruby ranks and up to guard every nook and cranny of our side of the canyon. So guys choose a mission and finish it yourselves.'
We nodded, feeling confident. Then Ember asked,'Anubis, we haven't asked about this. How big is our territory?'
'Well, Poketopia is divided into six major parts: The Forest, that's where we are, in the south. To our left, there's a large desert reaching from north to south. Mt. Boulder, where you did your first mission, is a border-like place roughly in the middle. In the desert, there's a daughter branch of the Resistance. To our east is a range of lush, green mountains, almost filling up half of the east side. To the north of the mountains is a giant lagoon thinly connected to the ocean. There is also a daughter branch there. Covering the whole north part is a snowy plain with mountains here and there. A daughter branch is also there.
Finally, in the middle of all the places is a wide range of lush green plains. There's where the Master is. Our branches have different specialities.
The desert branch has more fire, ground, rock, steel types, while the lagoon has more water types. The snowy branch, which you can guess has ice types. And our Headquarters, well, has everything. We have also a few troops in the mountains, specializing in electric, grass and flying types.'
'Uhhh, ok. So good luck!' I said to Anubis as he headed out.
'Who thought the world would be so complicated,' l muttered as we headed down to the mission boards.
We looked at the billboard. Palm snatched one from the board and showed it to us. On it read:

Task:Catch criminal Graveller
Crimes: Kidnapping, stealing
Last seen: Mountains
If caught, bring criminal to Prison Department at any Branch of Resistance
Reward: 1500 Pokecoins
Prison Department
P.S. Before starting, come to Prison Department to borrow a Temporary Capsule to bring the criminal back

'Let's do this. Everyone got their necessites?'
Three hours later
'Puff,puff...' The sound of us panting echoed through the multiple valleys of the Mountain Region. Though the sight was beautiful here, it cost a hard price!
We're nearing the mountain where the Graveller was seen last. I turned around and said to them' Ok everyone, stop and take a short break. The Graveller should be near us.'
After five minutes of break time, we continued on a rocky path. Suddenly, we heard a noise. It was like rocks tumbling down the mountainside. I signalled for everyone to keep quiet and stop.
'I'll use Shadow Sneak and see what is happening. Wait here. If I get attacked, I'll shout.'
I melted into shadows and travelled towards the source of the noise. Sure enough, it was the criminal. He was using Rollout, destroying everything in his path.
I headed back to the others and whispered' It's him.'
'So what do we do?'
'Palm, Finn and Ember will sneak over to that end of that narrow passageway, look. Do you all see it?'
I pointed at a narrow piece of road, with the two sides blocked away by rocks.
They nodded.
'So, our plan will be...'
The criminal Graveller was rolling away on the road. As he stopped in the middle of the narrow piece of road, a shout came from behind. He saw a Charmander and a Treecko come out.
'Graveller, give in. We are members of the Resistance. You have commited many crimes and the Prison Department would like you to be in custody. Surrender now or we will subject to force.'
'Ha! You think that you weaklings can take me down? Come on!'
Hearing this, Ember fired an ember at the Graveller. To his horror, the Graveller shook it off.
'You think that a small attack would take me down? You're too weak, kid, go home and train.'
Palm and Ember's faces had turned to fear. Hearing the Graveller, they ran away out of the passageway.
Just as the Graveller was smirking, another voice rang out behind him.
'Well then, take this!'
The Graveller spun around but it was too late. A water pulse hit him square in the face.
Feeling pain and dazy from the attack, he looked at his attacker. A Froakie, with his hands in a battle stance, stood at the end of the passageway.
The Graveller growled in anger and rolled towards me. I dodged to the side, and fired another Water Pulse at him. It missed. Dodging another Rollout, the Graveller had rolled into the middle of the passageway.
'Who are you again...' the Graveller moaned. 'Oh, you don't need to care. Oh and bye.' I said as I stepped sideways. 'What do you mean?' The Graveller asked before a wave of Muddy Water crashed into him, rendering him unconscious. Another three hours later... 'This is the criminal caught,' I said as I placed the Temporary Capsule onto a tray before a Medicham.
'Thank You! This is your reward! Here is your reward.' The Medicham handed over a piece of paper. It was like a coupon for claiming our reward.
'Go to the Reward Office and claim your reward.'
'Bye!' With a final wave, we exited the office.
When we had given the Resistance their share of our reward, we went back up to our cabin. Anubis was there waiting for us.
'So, how did it go?' He asked.
'It was great! Alpha thought of a strategy to take the criminal down!'
'That's great! Get your rest time and be ready for tomorrow's mission!'
'Anubis is a bit stressed, I can see.'
'Of course! He's dealing with the Master.'
