"-going to be a little worn out for a while."

"-sorry, she has to stay in protective custody-"

"-might take a while to wake-"

The bits and pieces of conversations would greet my ears every once in a while, though I couldn't stay awake long enough to keep listening. But now...

My eyes slipped open and drifted around the room, looking at all the unfamiliar faces. Two men in uniforms stood by the door, a man and a woman in blue scrubs stood on either side of my bed, and one man had his back to me at the counter but wore a long white lab coat. He must be my doctor.

"What's going on?" I mumbled, trying to sit up in bed.

"You shouldn't move." The female nurse on my right said. "You have a pretty bad neck injury."

I tried to pull my hands up to my face, but a sharp pain entered both of my wrists and the loud sound of metal clinking against more metal greeted my ears. "What the he-"

"Please remain calm and try not to fight." One of the men at the door spoke up. "The restraints are for yours and our protection."

The nurse beside me rolled her eyes. "She hasn't showed any signs of being dangerous since she was on the coast with All Might. And if you haven't forgotten, she's the one who saved the entire city."

"She's also the one who put it in danger in the first place."

"What did I do?" I asked, confusion in my voice. "Where's my family?"

"No one's been allowed to see you since you arrived." The male nurse answered with sadness in his voice. "You've been here for three days already."

"What? What did I do?"

"You tried killing all of us. Everyone in the city." One of the officers answered.

My vision swam so I closed my eyes, trying hard to think. "I want to see my mom."

"I can't allow that."

"Why not?" I asked, getting angry.

"No ones allowed to talk to you until we get your statement."

Shaking my head, I tried again to sit up, but was jerked down by the handcuffs. "Can I at least fucking sit up?" I snapped at them, realizing how stiff my body was. They must have left me lying here like this for days.

"I'm not letting you out of those handcuffs, Mitsuko."

I rolled my eyes but continued to recall what had happened. "Can someone refresh my memory, then?"

"Sure." One officer said. "One night, you're at your house, sleeping with your boyfriend. The next, you're gone without a trace. You left your phone and car at your house. Even your boyfriend! Just-" He snaps his fingers. "Gone. But then later that day, we find you off in the middle of the ocean creating this massive hurricane. It was a category 4! Do you even realize how bad a category 4 hurricane is?"

"Of course I do, you idiot. I'm a pro hero with a quirk that controls the elements. I've defeated category 5 hurricanes when I was younger."

"So then, enlighten me as to why you would try to kill all of us?"

"First of all." I began, chewing on the inside of my cheek. "I do remember Aizawa spending the night with me. Thanks for that. And I remember when we came home, we found one of the villains outside of my home waiting for me. It was Dabi, that villain with blue fire and scars all over his body. But he disappeared and we went to bed."
