Akiyasu
He pressed his lips against my cheek softly, though his dark stubble was still painfully prickly. My breath hitched in my throat at the moment. The smell on his shirt was enthralling and he was so warm, providing me with a sense of safety and security. I didn't want to move. "What's wrong?" Shota's deep voice whispered above me.
"Nothing." I replied back pressing my head into his neck. Please don't go anywhere.
He pulled his head back and stared into my eyes a second before pressing a kiss to my lips. I reciprocated, closing my eyes and letting our lips linger there. His hands had found their way to the back of head and his fingers began to knot themselves in my hair while his other hand trailed down my outer thigh. His touch was so comforting. This moment right here was better than anything else I had been feeling the last few months. My own fingers caressed his sharp jawline, my thumb brushing over the skin on his face. The hand wrapped in my hair escaped and slid down to grab my own jaw, Shota now tilting my head back. When our lips broke apart, we both took deep breaths, panting as he left a trail of kisses down my neck. I drank in his scent like I was smelling baked goods. It all felt so surreal. When his lips met my collarbone, I was suddenly aware I wasn't wearing a shirt.
His hand moved from my thigh to my waist, grabbing me there while his mouth found a way down my chest.
"Wake up!" A loud voice dragged me out of my sleep.
As my mind came back to reality, disappointment set in when I realized it was just a dream. Shota's touch was painfully absent again. Slipping my eyes open, I glared at my blonde friend. "Why did you wake me up."
"I didn't want to but I just got some new information on the League and I couldn't wait to tell you."
Sitting up quickly in bed, not really sure how I even got here, my eyes widened and I scrubbed a hand over my face to rid myself of the fatigue. "What'd you find out?"
"The pros think they know where they're keeping Shota and your mom. They're on their way to check it out right now. If it's the right place, we might be getting them back today!"
My heart rate picked up and I pressed my hand to my head in disbelief. "How long was I sleeping?"
Hizashi checked his watched and began to count in his head, sticking his tongue out as he thought. "Um, about 42 hours."
"WHAT!?"
He nodded with a shit eating grin on his face. "You've been out. I couldn't believe you didn't wake up sooner. It didn't sound like you were having nightmares or anything."
My mind drifted back to the nice dream I was having with Shota and the smallest of smiles reached my lips.
"So what now?" I asked. "What do we do?"
"We wait for now. If they find them, we'll meet at the hospital."
I nodded and began to chew on the inside of my cheek.
"Do you wanna go back to sleep?"
"No." I shook my head. "I'm hungry."
He smiled and stepped away from my bed. "I'll have something ready in about 10 minutes. Go take a shower and it'll be done by the time you're out."
I nodded and threw my blanket off before sliding off the guest bed and going to the bathroom.
~Time Skip~
Towel drying my hair as I left the bathroom, I headed out to Hizashi's kitchen, getting a whiff of the food he was cooking.
"It smells really good." I commented as I sat down, making Hizashi turn and give me a large grin. "It's just left overs but they're still good." He began to pile food onto a plate and plucked some silverware from the open drawer before using his hip to close it and bring the plate over to me. As he set it down, I gave him a "thank you," before digging in. He joined me less than a minute later with his own plate of food and we both ate in silence. As I finished my food, Hizashi looked over me with one eyebrow raised.
