Ciara went straight to her grandmother's house after she arrived in England. Once she got to the house, she was standing in front of the door for at least 10 minutes, or was it 30 minutes? she totally lost track of time while she was thinking about everything.

"How can I look at my sister's eyes after I abandoned her when she needed me the most? How can look at my loving grandmother, the person who raised me, the one I loved more than my own parents, and tell her I completely lost control, that I was drugged and locked at a psych ward for months? How can I look at them in the eyes and tell them I tried to jump for the highest building I got to? " these thoughts were hunting her. She didn't know what to do, nor did she know if she'd be welcomed in that house again, she didn't know If they ever missed her or wanted to see her again. Or did they just forget about her as if she never existed?

A voice was telling her how bad of a person she is for never checking on her grandmother and rarely visiting her since the day she's grown up to be a teenager and lost her humanity somehow. She's never been a good example for her sister who has always looked up to her, she had always left her in the middle of the road and turned her back on her every time she needed her.

After standing in front of the door for so long wondering if she should knock or not, she finally turned her back on her family and past, she decided to leave, "I'm not worthy to be a part of this family, my family has been through enough hardships, a crazy person like me would just make things worse ." She murmured as she steadily walked away.

A few steps later, she heard the door slowly open. She wanted to run away, She was so ashamed of herself she wished the ground would swallow her up and completely disappear at that moment.

"Ciara... sister, " She heard a soft voice calling her name. "Is that really you? I've been so worried about you, you never picked up any of my calls..." as soon as Ciara turned, Naomi jumped on her and hugged her the tightest hug ever, "I missed you, I missed you so much sister" she repeated while crying. Ciara couldn't help but shed thousands and thousands of tears. "I'm so sorry Naomi, I never meant to leave you alone, I never meant to abandon you when you needed me the most, I was selfish. I'm the worst sister ever, please forgive me" She repeated as she hugged her back, she cupped her face and looked at her eyes intently, "I'm back now, okay? I'll be by your side no matter what, you don't have to worry about anything from now on, I'm gonna take care of everything."

"You will never leave again, right? Would you promise me to never leave me alone? I've been lost without you.." She muttered while still crying.

"I promise you, Naomi, now let's wipe all these tears, it hurts to see you crying like this" Ciara wiped her sister's tears with her sleeves.

Naomi started crying harder all of sudden, "Ciara... grandma... grandma is not okay" she blurted a few words. "she's been so sick and I couldn't buy her expansive medicine because I was kicked out of my part-time job when they discovered I'm not old enough, I can't afford to lose her too... I can't" she cried harder than ever.

Ciara unconsciously stormed into the house looking for her grandma, her tears started flowing like an ocean as soon as she saw her granny's precious smile. "My sweet little Ciara is here," She said gratefully. "Yes grams, I'm back and I will take good care of you and Naomi, I'm gonna fix everything," She hugged her tightly.

Since that day Ciara spent the majority of her time working and saving money to help her family, they had nothing left since her father got arrested so she had to work at least three part-time jobs a week, 10 hours a day. She worked as a waitress, she delivered food and newspapers, she was also babysitting on weekends. She worked her hardest to save money and buy her grandma's medicine and the things her little family needed. She wanted Naomi to only focus on her study so she did all of the hardworking by herself. She had to fight her depression and mental illnesses, she had to forget about herself and stand up for her family, she couldn't get over how her mother had just abandoned them like they meant nothing to her but she couldn't leave her father alone in his suffering.
