Chapter 7: Student body president

Vote for me, for student body president! Ray Palmer said while hanging a poster of himself on a wall. Well, well, well. What do we have here? Looks like someone is running for student body president. Curtis said while putting a poster on a wall opposite to Ray. What makes you think you're gonna win? Curtis asked. Well, I'm smart, I'm an inventor and I have big ideas to transform this school. Ray explained. You guys are running for student body president too? Felicity asked after hanging up a poster. Yeah, and I'm gonna win. Curtis said. What makes you say that? Ray asked. Because I'm smart and I also have big ideas. Curtis said. You guys do know that i'm going to win, right? Felicity said. We'll see. Ray said. It's on. Curtis said before they all separated and left.

After a couple of weeks. In the auditorium, Ray, Felicity and Curtis were giving their speeches on why they should be elected student body president. While they were doing that, Kamilla was taking a pictures for yearbook and Kara was taking notes.
If you vote for me for student body president, I'll make sure that the school lunch will be nutritious and healthy. I'll also update the school security to a system called Archer, which will identify the students and teachers, and if it identifies an intruder, it will not let them anywhere near the school and it will send them away while sending out an alarm. It will also know if there's a fire. Felicity explained. Okay, thank you Ms Smoak. Mr Holt, you're next. Principal Jones said. If you vote for me as president, I'll make a security system where it will be equipped with highly specialized cameras, that will track the students and teachers in the school. The principal and school staff will be able to watch your every move. Curtis explained. Thank you Mr Holt. Next we have Mr Palmer. Principal Jones said. If you vote for me for student body president, I'll transform this school. Not only will I ask the teachers to make it easier for you to learn. But I will create a tutoring program. I will recruit some students to help tutor you on different days. If you're struggling in class and need help, my tutor program will help. And we all know that raising money for the school can be boring. But if i'm president, I'll make it more fun. Ray explained. We'll have bake sales and car washes. So please, vote for me. And together we can make this school Ray again! Ray said. Later on that day during lunch, Ray was passing out cookies. Here, have a cookie and vote for me. Ray said while passing out cookies. During the last period of the day, everyone was in the auditorium waiting for the results. And your new student body president is...
Ray Palmer! Principal Jones said after opening an envelope. After Ray gave his thank you speech, Kara interviewed him for yearbook club while Kamilla took pictures.
