Chapter Five.

 BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEEP!!

 "Turn it the fuck off!" Ivy screams. I wince. I'm experiencing the worse hang over ever. Ivy get up and slams the clock against the wall. "What time is it?" I whisper. 

"Damn it, woman. Don't talk so loud." Ivy says flinching. I look at my phone and it says six in the morning. I get up to take a shower to see if my head will stop thumping but Ivy runs and starts throwing up in the toilet. I go and hold her hair while I rub her back. I guess I'm experiencing the second worse hang over. My mom walks in with four Advil tablets and orange juice. She smiles and hands Ivy the pills. We swallow them quickly. "Ivy, Hun. I turned on the hot water in my bathroom. Go shower." My mom says rubbing her back. Ivy gets up, hugs my mom like she saved her life and bolts.  My mom smiles and tell me to do the same. I turned on my shower and soak my head on the hot water cascading down on me. When the water gets cold, I turn it off and get out. I grab blue jeans and a Disney sweater because obviously, i'm feeling magical. I slip on some vans and walk downstairs.

Ivy is walking upstairs and flips me off. I flip her off and she laughs but shouts "Shit!" right after. I flinch yet again, this light is blinding, damn I'm never getting drunk again. My mom sits a plate of eggs and pancakes down for me with another glass of orange juice. I love this woman. I can hear Ivy complaining while she walks downstairs. She wet her hair so it's back to being curly and she wearing black Ray bans. She wearing black sweatpants with a red V neck shirt. She also wear a leather jacket withred low top converse. She sits next to me and throws me a pair of blue Ray bans. 

"Thank you, love" I say. "No problem." Mom sets a plate of eggs and bacon in front of her. "Did I ever mention that I love you Ms. R?" Ivy sighs. 

"Girl, you knew me since forever. Its Laura or Mom for you." My mom smiles. 

"I SMELL BACON!" Edward yells. Ivy and I flinch and groan. 

Ivy glares at him and keeps eating. Mom sets a plate full of eggs and pancakes down in front of him. "Why do I get pancakes and she gets bacon?" He says whining.

"Because Ivy doesn't like pancakes." My mom scoffs.

My brother sulks but he eats the eggs nonetheless. A car beeps and we flinch again. Ivy gets up and walks to the door. "SHUT THE FUCK UP SHAWN OR ILL FUCKING KILL YOU" Ivy slams the door and throws herself groaning on the couch. "Gotta go before Ivy kills someone" He gets up and walks up to Ivy. He crouches down to her ear and screams "BYE IVY!" and he runs like his life depends on it which it does. Ivy screams and lunges at him but he was already gone. "Y'all going to be late for school." My mom says shown us the time which was 7:10. I grab our bag and hand Ivy hers. Ivy grabs her keys and throw it at me. I'm guessing she wants me to drive. "And try not to kill someone, Ivy dear." My mom laughs.

"I'll try, Mama Bear." And Ivy walks to the car. My mom laughs and hugs me and whisper "I put four more pills in case you and Ivy headache get worse". I laugh and walk to the car. We drive silently to school and rush to class before the bell rings. We sit in homeroom and wait until 2nd period. I'm so glad I got most of my classes with Ivy. She really needs my help. My headache was dulling but I see Ivy's was increasing. "How much did you drink last night?" I ask.

 "I lost count, Charlie kept encouraging me. Where were you last night?" she groan.

The bell rang and Ivy groan loudly. Saved by the bell. The day past like a blur, I let Ivy sleep, waking her up only when its lunch time. I give her my notes and she smiles. I guess she getting better but I tell her to sit with the gang. I wait in the lunch line. Where's Nick? Did he come today? I pay me and Ivy lunch with the money she gave me. I walk towards our table when someone practically broke my shoulder which made me spill my food.

"Oops, I'm sorry. I didn't see you there." Nicole says trying to act innocent. I look around and I see Edward and Ivy coming towards me. "You should wear a bright color so people could actually know you exist." Nicole spats.

 "Or maybe you need stop being a total bitch" Ivy retorts.

 "Says the loser's sidekick" Nicole spats

 "Oh, are we giving titles? Everyone knows you're the school's tramp." Ivy smirks.

 Nicole tries to lunge at Ivy but Edward holds her back. "Get out of here, Nicole. Next time, you sneak into my room and desperately take off your clothes, why don't you teach yourself some class." Nicole glares at him and walks away with her clones following after her.

 I set Ivy plate down to pick up mines but Edward tells me to go sit and he'll get our lunch. I hug him and walk with Ivy to the table.

 I see Nick looking at me and the memory of yesterday come to me but I push it back.

 "Its about time someone puts that hoe in place" Charlie says. 

Ivy sits down and I sit next to Charlie. I look around and everyone was looking horrible except Marc and Charlie. 

"Why the fuck do y'all look so fucking happy?" Ivy says while Edward sits and places our lunch in front of us. 

"Cause we didn't drink" Marc replied.

"Yeah, we can turn up without alcohol" Charlie laughs. 

"When did y'all go out?" Eddy ask confused. 

"Last Night." Justin says. 

"Why wasn't I invited?" Eddy says. 

"Cause we thought you was a lying, betraying bastard but we were wrong." I said simply.

"Well!" Eddy says holding his heart dramatically. 

We all laugh then groan. Shawn walks up to Ivy and smiles. "Hey Ivy and the rest" he says. We all flip him off. "I see I'm not wanted" He says laughing. 

"What the hell, man?!"

We all turn our heads to the jocks. We see Nick looking angry as hell and Chad, another football player on the ground. He gets up and starts swinging. Nick dodges every one and punches him in the face again. Chad looks like bull ready to charge but Nick looks like he is ready to kill. I get up to stop this. I start walking but Charlie pulls me back giving me a "let a guy handle it" look. I ignore it and start speed walking over there. When I got there, Nick was kicking the hell out of Chad who was on the floor spitting blood.

"STOP! NICK, STOP!" I try pushing him off of him. He looks at me and tells me to move. I shake my head and stand in front of him with my arms apart.

"Look, your little bitch is helping you" Chad says laughing with blood dripping down his mouth. I stay where I am because Nick looks more than murderous, he is actually scaring me. Chad starts laughing and he says "Come at me, bro." When Nick doesn't move, Chad screams "Oh, I see. You're her bitch."
"You must have mistaken her for your mom" Nick says with a smirk on his face.

Chad gets red and charges but before he can reach Nick, he shoves me out the way. He was seriously mad because he shoved me to the floor. Edward starts walking forward. He looks at me and pulls Chad from Nick. He grabs on Chad shirt and says with his teeth gritted "You touch my little sister again and I'll kill you. You disrespect my sister again, you're going to have to move because where I see you, I will beat you unconscious. Take a good look cause next time you do something, you won't be able to."

 Chad cowers down and nods frantically. My brother pushes him away.

 "There's nothing to see here. Get on with your fucked up lives." Ivy shouts walking towards me. I guess she's still hung over.

 Nick is staring at me. "You shouldn't have got involved." He says. 

Wow, don't thank me. I'm so over this guy. I shake my head and walk away. What's going on with this dude? One day, he wants me then, he acts like I'm the biggest pest.

I spend the rest of the day in auto pilot.
