Troian's POV

I woke up and groaned. Today is my first day of school. I decided to wear a blue blouse, blue jeans, a white scarf and leather boots. I curled my hair and put on some make-up. I went downstairs.

"You look very beautiful, Troian," Valerie said.

"Thank you," I smiled. "I'm so nervous."

"Why? I mean, today is your first day at a new school," Valerie said.

"I guess you're right," I said. "I mean, I just want it to be a good year."

"I think it will," Valerie said. "It's a very good school."

"I hope so," I said.

I went upstairs to brush my teeth. I fixed my hair and walked downstairs. My dad is standing by the door.

"Are you ready?" He asked.

I nodded. I followed Dad out to the car and got inside. Dad started the car and we drove to school.

"Are you nervous?" He asked.

"No," I said. "I mean, I'm kinda nervous."

"It'll be okay," Dad said. "You'll make some friends."

"And they'll backstab me," I mumbled to myself.

We pulled up to the school. I opened the door and got out. I waved to my dad and walked inside the school. I walked to the office.

"Good morning," The secretary said, smiling.

"Morning," I said. "I need to get my schedule."

"Oh, yes!" She said. "What's your name?"

"Troian Bellisario," I said.

"Here's your schedule," She said, handing me a piece of paper. "I'll have Robert show you around this school so you won't get lost. Okay? Robert!"

A boy with brown hair, hazel eyes, and is quite tall walks into the room. He stopped and stared at me for quite awhile.

"Troian, this is Robert," The secretary said. "Robert, this is Troian."

"Hi," He said.

"Hello," I said.

"Robert, I need you to show Troian around the school," The secretary said.

Robert nodded. I followed him out the door.

"So what school did you come from?" Robert asked.

"Riverside," I said.

"That's not in this city, is it?" He asked, looking confused.

"It's in Boston," I said.

"Why move from Boston?" Robert asked.

"I moved here to live with my dad," I said.

"Oh, that's cool," He said. "How long will you be here?"

"Until I graduate," I said. "Or if I choose to move back with my mom in Boston."

"Please, don't," He said. "I mean, why move back when you can stay here until you graduate.. yeah."

"I don't know what will happen," I shrugged my shoulders.

"So uh, do you, maybe, want to trade numbers?" He asked. "We could hand out?"

I nodded my head. We switched phones and I put my number in his. We switched phones and he waved and walked away. I smiled to myself and went to find my locker.

I found my locker. I put my stuff inside and walked to class. I walked inside and kids started staring at me.

"Oh, hello," The teacher said. "What's your name?"

"Uh, Troian," I said. "Troian Bellisario."

"I'm guessing you are new to our school?" The teacher asked.

"Yes," I nodded my head.

"How about you sit next to Cameron in the back?" He said.

I nodded and walked to the back. I sat next to a boy who has green eyes and blonde hair. I smiled and looked forward. I see a girl look at me, gave me a pissed-off look, and looked forward. I don't know why but I ignored it.
