Troian's Pov

I was sweating like a hog. Why? The girls and I were anxious and nervous. We performed for the judge yesterday and we are anxious to see if we passed on or not.

We decided our name is Playback. Our coach is Simon Cowell. It took us, like all night to determine our group name. We finally decided at almost ten at night. Than, we pigged out and watched Netflix.

A woman in black, haha, came and told us Simon is waiting for us. We all walked towards him and faced him.

"Hi, ladies," He said.

"Hello," We said.

"You look nervous," He said.

"We are," Liana laughed.

"On with this," He said. "You guys are very great together and I loved the song choice it was amazing. Uh, but, you have bits in your vocals that are in need of fixing. But, I have to go with my heart and my decision is.."

My heart is beating fast. Like, super fast. If he says no, it's not even worth it. I failed already. I won't be surprised when he says no. He doesn't think we'll make it.

"You're through," He said.

"Yes!" Haley screamed, throwing her hands up in the air.

Liana and Abby hugged, which turned into a group hug. Simon walked over and hugged us again. We thanked him and we walked back into the house.

We entered the X-Factor house and I ran up into my bedroom. I grabbed my phone and called my mom. My biological mom, to be exact.

"Hey!" Mom said. "How's it going?"

"We made it to live shows!" I screamed. I've been keeping her updated on what's been happening.

"That's amazing! I'm so proud of you and your mates!" Mom said. "That's great!"

"I'm so happy!" I smiled. "I thought we wouldn't make it, but I'm wrong! We are still here!"

"Congratulations! You guys deserve it! Have you told your father?" She asked.

"I will after I'm done," I said.

"I'll let you get to it," Mom said. "I'll talk to you later. Bye!"

"Alright, bye!" I said.

I called my father and it was pretty much the same conversation as my mom and I's. I hung up and I threw my phone onto my bed. I sat down and looked at the ceiling. Haley walks in.

"Who were you talking to?" She asked.

"Oh, my parents," I said.

"Oh," She said. "Sounds great! I, as myself, got off the phone with my brother. My parents are at work. But, he'll tell them, though."

"Are they nice?" I asked.

"My parents?" Haley asked.

"Yeah," I nodded.

"Um," Haley said. "I mean, they're the greatest! Not like my real parents, though."

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"My real parents died in a car accident when I was only six years old," Haley said.

"I'm so sorry for asking," I said.

"Don't sweat it," Haley said.

After about an hour and a half, we went to bed. We have a meeting with Simon about our first live performance and I couldn't be any more excited. I practically went to bed with a smile on my face and that doesn't happen often.
