Caden's Prov

I was looking for Scotty because he ran of. I can't believe they were such jerks. I couldn't find Smalls so I just went home. I got home around 5:00 so I went outside and played catch by myself.

I saw a boy with strawberry blonde hair and a tan looking at me through a window with disgust. Once he saw me he looked away. "What's his problem?" I though "C time for dinner" my mom called "Coming" I said still looking over at the boys house.

I went in and ate dinner. After dinner I went to my room turned my radio on and got my pajamas on. I read a book till 9:00. I turned my radio off and went to bed.

~morning time~
I woke up around 8:00 and got ready I put on a long sleeve shirt shorts and my PF Flyers and went downstairs.

I went into the kitchen and there was a not on the fridge that said

Me and your father will be out of town for the week because of work we will send $25 on Wednesday.

Great we have been here for 2 days and they are already leaving. I rolled my eyes got my glove and went outside I saw Smalls on his porch so I went out.
"Woah how did you get the black eye?" I asked "Oh I was trying to catch a ball" he said obviously embarrassed "It's fine" I reassured him we were talking for a while until the boy from the sandlot came up to us. " hey do you guys want to play some ball with me and the guys" he asked

I was about to say no but Smalls beat me to it. "We can't" he said I internally laughed "Why not" he said getting annoyed which made me annoyed "Um my glove it's busted." Scotty said I sighed with relief. "It's ok use my extra one" he said pulling it magically out of his back pocket.

Scott was happy but I was shocked how he fit that glove in his back pocket. "Ok" Scotty said. I sighed internally. "You coming too little lady" he asked. Rolled my eyes "fine." I said as I got up. "Come on" he said running
"So are you guys siblings?" He asked "No just friends." I explained "ok what are your names?" He asked "I'm Scott Smalls" Scotty said. "I'm Caden" I said "Do you have a last name?" We ran to the side of Vincent's Shop where there were 7 boys. "Iwm da gweat bambwino." The chubby kid said "Huh?" They all questioned "Iwm da gweat bambwino" the kid said again "What?" He took the thing out of he mouth and said "I'm The Great Bambino" "Ohhh" the boys said I just chuckled how ironic.

"Who's that?" Smalls asked I face palmed right there. It was silent. "What did he say" the chubby kid said in shock. "Where you born in a barn man" "Yeah Yeah What planet are you from"

I realized that was the boy who was staring at me yesterday. "You've never heard of the Sultan of Swat." "The Titan of Terror." "Colossus of Clout" "Colossus of Clout" a little boy repeated. "The King if Crash man." Benny said I glared at him.

"Oh The Great Bambino of course I thought you said the the great Bambi." Nice save Smalls. "You mean that wimpy deer?" The chubby one said. "Yeah I guess so sorry." "Anyways guys that's ————" (you guys get the point)
They all spit on the ground when there introduced. "This is Scott Smalls and Caden she won't tell me her last name." "Hi" Smalls said Oh Smalls you're too pure.

The one named Squints spat again. I rolled my eyes. "There gonna play with us because will have a full team plus one." "But Benny the one cant play and the other ones a GIRL. That's when it pushed me over the edge. "How about you come say that to my face." I walked up to Hamilton. "What are you gonna do SWAT my face." He said laughing.

All the other boys were laughing too. "No I'm gonna do this." I got closes to him and punched him in the face. He stumbled backwards. I was going to do it again but Benny Smalls and the Yeah Yeah boy held me back. Ham got up and stared at me for and minute "I respect you." He said I smiled "Let's go" Ham said
