Part 14

Caden's Pov

Me and YeahYeah Were standing in line for a good ten minutes. It was finally our turn so we got in and buckled our seats. The guy looked at us and gave us a thumbs up to say the ride was starting.

It was pretty awkward but YeahYeah grabbed my hand and held on to it to ease the tension. We sat in a silence until YeahYeah decided to break it. "Were you actually okay with me getting on the ride with you?" He looked like he was nervous. "Of course... honestly I'm kinda glad you came." I blushed

We sat in a bit more silence till we were at the top of the Ferris wheel. I looked up at the stars, "they're beautiful aren't they?" I said randomly

"What are?" YeahYeah asked "The stars." I whispered "Oh yeah right right." "Not as pretty as you." He whispered

"What?" I asked he sighed, "Caden there's something I want to tell you I'm just scared you won't think the same or you'll punch me in the face..." he trailed off. I grabbed him bye the chin, "YeahYeah you can tell me anything I don't want you to be scared." I reassure him.

YeahYeahs Pov

"YeahYeah you can tell me anything I don't want you to be scared." She told me.

This is it no backing out now... I let in a deep breath. "I just want you to promise what I'm about to say won't effect our friendship in anyway please I'm begging you." I told her with my eyebrows furrowed. She stopped smiling. "YeahYeah are you okay?" Her voice was laced with concern. "Just promise me." I repeated

"I promise"

"Well.. ever since you got here all I could think about was how pretty and amazing and funny and overall how great of a person you are and when on the first day we met how you called me out I almost cried. But all I've been thinking about is you, like how you're so badass like when you punch Ham or Phillips or how good you are at baseball, you play ball like I've never seen before it's really bitchin. And you're so gorgeous I could look at you all day everyday for the rest of my life. Basically what I'm trying to say is I really like you maybe even love and it's okay if you day feel the same way and I promise it's not just because you're a Ruth it's because you're your own person. Like I said I understand if you don't feel the same way but please don't let this affect our friendsh-

I get cut off by her grabbing my cheeks and pulling me in kissing me. It felt amazing.

"Shut up I like you too." She giggled a bit

"I love you." I said. She stared into my eyes before saying

"I love you too."

I grab her and pull her in for another kiss. We jerk up knowing that the ride started again and our lives are changed.

OMG I DID IT😀 IT FINALLY HAPPEND🥺 Also in this time I've been gone i have also found out I'm a BTS army 💜 anyway I need some ideas for the next chapters of this book.
Is it just me or do other people hate when different characters come in and try to ruin the characters relationship? I feel like that's in every fanfic AND I HATE IT! Conflict sucks sometimes 😂 well hope you liked this update🦋
