Chapter 6

Byeol grabbed a pair of light-wash jeans and slid them over her legs after removing the sweatpants. She decided to keep the pale yellow sweatshirt on, but put a long sleeve top under it for extra warmth. After slipping her converse on, Byeol turned and faced her friend who was in similar attire. Minki smiled at Byeol and they both headed downstairs to the waiting boys.

When Jisung and Jeongin saw the girls walking down the stairs, they stood up to head to Jisung's car. The blue-haired boy, however, pulled his girlfriend into his arms as he whispered something in her ear, causing her to giggle. Byeol rolled her eyes. She was quite used to the couple being like this, but it doesn't mean she enjoyed watching it.

"Hey Byeol, you wanna wait for them outside?"

Jeongin's voice brought Byeol out of her thoughts and she smiled at the boy as she walked towards the door with him following, but not before snatching the keys from Jisung's pocket as he continued doing whatever to Minki. As they made their way to the car, Byeol unlocked it so they could sit inside and away from the cold weather.

"So-"

"What-"

Jeongin and Byeol both started speaking and chuckled as they waited for the other to continue.

"Okay, I'll go," the girl smiled as Jeongin started speaking. "What kind of rides do you like at the amusement park? I'm fine with anything, I just wanted to know if there's anything you're dying to do. Or not do."

"Um, I don't know. I've never been," Byeol looked down at her lap as she spoke. Jeongin gasped dramatically.

"You've never been to an amusement park?!"

"No, I've always been so focused on my grades to please my parents, so I never really got to go and have fun." She looked up and met Jeongin's eyes, giving him a sad smile.

Jeongin sense there was more to her story than just wanting to please her parents, but he dropped it. "Well, I'm going to make sure you have the best first time ever." He gave Byeol a big smile as the front doors opened and Jisung and Minki climbed in, both with swollen lips.

"It's nice of you two to join us," Byeol smirked at Minki in the mirror while the blonde girl just blushed.

Jisung started the car and began driving to the amusement park while Minki played DJ and put on some of BTS's new music as she and Byeol jammed hard to 'Dionysus'.

After about 10 minutes of driving, Jisung parked the car and the four teenagers got out and walked towards the park. They paid for their tickets and headed inside to meet the others. Minki linked arms with Byeol and headed towards the others as Jae waved them over, the two boys following behind them.

"Hey guys!" Jae hugged the two girls as she giggled in excitement, catching everyone else's attention.

After everyone greeted each other, they decided to split into their buddy groups and meet back in 2 hours then do some stuff as a group. As if they were all connected telepathically, everyone in the group said bye at the same time and left Jeongin and Byeol together.

Jeongin turned to the girl and smiled. "They aren't usually this weird, but they are pretty weird." His words caused Byeol to giggle. He offered her his arm which she shyly took before he spoke again. "So I was thinking we could start with something easy and then ease you into the more exciting rides."

"Okay, that sounds like a good idea." Byeol smiled up at the taller boy as he led her to a small roller coaster, but not a kiddie one. Jae was right, there weren't many people out today, so the two teens were soon seated in a roller coaster car.
