Okay, long/rollercoaster chapter ahead. Hehe

After Byeol and Minki's coffee date, Jisung picked Minki up and she filled him in on everything on the way to her house. Byeol on the other hand went back to her apartment and sat on the couch as she pulled her knees to her chest. She rested her chin on her knees and couldn't help but think of Jeongin.

Where is he? Is he okay? Is he mad at her? Does he even miss her?

Byeol brought herself out of her thoughts and willed herself to get up from the couch. She sluggishly made her way into the kitchen to make some ramen for dinner. After heating the water and pouring in the noodles and spices, she stirred it all together then poured it into a bowel. After adding two slices of cheese, she took the bowl of ramen and sat back on the couch.

As she turned the TV on and put a show on for background noise, Byeol began to blow on the ramen before shoving it in her mouth. When she was done, she turned off the TV, placed her bowl in the sink and filled it with water, then took a shower and laid in bed while holding her stuffed fox close to her.

She fell into a restless sleep as her thoughts took over.

The next three days were the same. Byeol would wake up, get ready, and walk to school with Jisung and Minki after they parked like Jeongin did. The school day was normal and at the end Minki and Jisung would walk home with Byeol again.

Finally, while walking home on Thursday, Jisung stopped in his tracks causing the two girls to stop their conversation and look at him. He only pointed his finger towards where his car was.

They followed his finger and Byeol's breath hitched when she saw a now blonde haired Jeongin standing beside his car. He didn't see his friends approaching him, so he startled a little when he looked up and saw them right in front of him.

His brown eyes fixed on Byeol. Her skin was a bit paler than when he had left, and she didn't have that sparkle in her eyes anymore. His heart hurt knowing that he was to blame for that. Jisung's awkward cough broke Jeongin out of his thoughts and he faced his friend.

"Um, w-we're gonna get going. See you tomorrow Byeol," Minki gave her friend a hug and whispered in her ear, "Call me if anything happens. Love you."

Byeol squeezed her friend and nodded her head. As they released each other, they saw Jeongin and Jisung talking in hushed whispers. The boys stopped talking when they noticed the girls watching. Minki then stepped forward and grabbed Jisung's hand as he led her to his car, they waved and then left.

Jeongin didn't hesitate to turn his attention back to Byeol, she was already looking at him. Her wide eyes were starting to gloss over as she just stared at him.

Jeongin opened his mouth. "Byeol..."

That was all it took. Her tears were coming down like waterfalls and it broke him to see her like this. He reached his arms out and pulled her into his chest, realizing just how much he had missed her. The way her small frame fit so perfectly with him when they hugged. The smell of lavender coming from her hair. How her head felt on his chest.

Neither of them spoke. Byeol's small sobs took care of filling in the silence. Jeongin had his arms wrapped around her and was placing small kisses on the top of her head.

After a few minutes, her cries had quieted and she pulled away from Jeongin's chest. As she looked up into his eyes, he brought his hand up to wipe away her fallen tears, her eyes closed at the comforting feeling of his hand on her cheek. Jeongin then slowly leaned forward and placed a soft, but passionate kiss on Byeol's lips.
