This one was not a request. Made by Ash.

Scenario: Reader is the daughter of an important family in Asgard, and due to that fact, she often attends banquets and parties with the royal family and other important Asgardians. At one in particular, she meets Loki Odinson, one of the princes of Asgard, and things go on from there (this imagine will have multiple parts).

Your POV:

You sighed as one of your handmaidens stood behind you, braiding your hair expertly in a delicate style. Another day, another royal event, on and on. You didn't mean to sound like a stuck-up, overprivileged young maiden, but it honestly got quite tiring. It seemed like every other night, some important Asgardian had a reason to throw a party, host a banquet, or celebrate some occurrence, whatever it may be. Was this truly the life for you? To live in overwhelming comfort until one day you found a rich, entitled suitor to raise a family with, and conclusively attend more celebratory affairs? You shook your head at your troubled thoughts, but in return, got a sharper tug from the handmaiden, which you interpreted glumly as a sign to stay still.

When you finally walked out of the house, after all of your time consuming preparations, a carriage was in wait with two snowy white horses bridled in gold coated leather, which matched the high end conveyance. You climbed in and the driver started off, towards whatever fancy gala you were being dragged to tonight. I do not see why I could not have stayed home and just read, you thought with a small sigh, and preceded to zone out the entire way there.

* * *

The venue was decorated lavishly with extravagant adornments, and filigrees garnished the tables set up everywhere. Exorbitant foods of any kind you could imagine were laid out in careful preparation, while paintings and murals crowned the wall. You sighed as you walked into the throngs of Asgardians making small talk. Exactly the same as every other festivity. This was going to be so boring, but of course it would be "rude and impolite to ignore the hosts and other guests," so you couldn't bring a book or something else to do. You made your way through to the outside area, where it was less crowded. Maybe you could at least be alone for a little.

"I see you are not too fond of large congregations, either." A placid voice came from behind you. You turned around and felt a small shock. Standing in front of you was Loki Odinson, one of the princes of Asgard. While you had seen them often from afar, you had never met any of the royal family personally, and you didn't know how to react at first.

"I'm...I'm sorry," you stammered, while mentally telling yourself to stop acting like an idiot. "I did not hear you come up behind me. Forgive me for my obliviousness."

Am I overdoing it? you silently thought.

He smiled in an almost amused way. "It is no problem, my lady...may I ask what your name is?"

"Y/N."

"It is no problem, Lady Y/N."

Sooooo, this is my first written thing on Wattpad ever, and it's not the best 😂, but hopefully I'll get better as I keep writing! -Ash
