Soon after our conversation Jack left, and I didn't talk to him for another two years... I had a close call one year later, the early spring of 2014 in Cincinnati, Ohio I was going to give them some rain, but he gave them one hell of a winter, later that week I talked to the groundhog about this, needless to say he was pissed off... I went another year without seeing Jack, and then my whole life was turned upside down.

CHAPTER 4: Shit. The Game is over.

I just finished delivering high tide, and was sitting on the beach in Panama City, Florida. Almost everyone surprisingly was asleep in their houses. No one to pollute the ocean, or surf, or build sandcastles. No spring breakers, obnoxious tourists, or vacationers. It was just me, the waves, some nesting turtles, and of course the moon. But he doesn't talk much. But that didn't stop me from trying to talk to him. ever. I looked over to see a little family a pregnant mother and a father walked the streets with their son, they weren't all that big but they were happy. I looked away as tears that pricked at my eyes I blinked them away and I sighed,

"Why can't I just be loved, why won't you give me a family?" I asked the Moon as my voice cracked. I was silent, and I listened one hour, two hours, no reply.

I turned away from him and walked freely wondering around the city counting stars and trying to ignore the moonbeam Manny shone at me, like he just was nonexistent. That was until the Sandman came and filled the night's sky with golden streams of sand, I noticed that he glanced down and saw me staring up at him, I tried to be inconspicuous and pretended to be looking up at the stars, it was easy for me to blend in because I figured out how to turn my staff into a necklace a few years back; I only need my staff when I change the tides anyways. I watched the golden sand dance in the sky in amusement, I never will know why, but watching Sandman's sand dance in the sky always made me less upset, and it calmed me down, maybe it was the fact that I knew his sand delivered happiness to the children, and let them believe they were invincible, whatever it is, I will never know...

Suddenly the northern lights danced gracefully in the sky like a rainbow ballet, I instantly knew that the Guardians were being called to the North Pole, Sandman stopped what he was doing and left in his biplane in a flash "Probably for some stupid party" I muttered to myself as I walked to the park to find out where I would sleep that night, I decided to sleep on a beautiful bed of lily pads in the koi pond. I drifted off and slept for about two hours until I heard something that sounded like breaking glass, someone then mumbled in gibberish, but they were shushed quickly, the atmosphere around me got cooler, I instantly knew who it was.

"This should be easier since she is asleep" I heard Jack mutter. Well, lucky for him, I wasn't asleep.

I shot up from my warm, comfy bed, and I instantly started flying away willing the wind to push me forward, and it would have felt great if my freedom weren't at stake... I noticed that my feet were being weighed down, they were also extremely cold; I was slowly descending from the sky. I looked at my feet and almost screamed bloody murderer, they were frozen solid in a block of ice, my feet were numbing quickly, and I knew what frostbite was, and if I got it, I'd likely lose my feet which I was very attached to.

"JACK FROST WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO MY FEET!" I shrieked in terror, I really didn't want to lose my feet.

"Chill out I'll fix them at the pole" he said as he flew up to pull me down the rest of the way.

"Wait. The Pole?! Oh NO NO NO NO! NOT HAPPENING! " I screamed as I started to hyperventilate and struggle even more so. I guess I wasn't breathing enough because right after me and my frozen feet were thrown unceremoniously into a thick red sack. I saw white dots dance in my vision, and I succumbed to the cold, numbing darkness that was begging to flood my vision for those fleeting minutes that would change my life forever.

Stay crazy, unique, and spunky my llamacorn crazies whom have read up to here, and past this chapter...
