I AM WAY TOO LAZY! Anyways ON WITH THE STORY!!!!

CHAPTER 6: Dreams

During this slumber... I had a dream, and any kind of dream was rare for me, especially a good dream, but this time I had a good one- no a great one, I don't remember that much of it; most of the details were fuzzy, or not there at all, but it left a warm, fluffy, light and airy feeling inside me, and I loved it, but I knew I would have to wake up and deal with the world the untrustable, painful, rude, but oh so wonderful world...

Before I woke up I tried to piece together the wonderful, and vague dream.

I was running on a beach, at sunset... By the looks of it somewhere in Hawaii by a dormant volcano; the ground was made up of hardened, ash and cooled molten rock. The ecosystem was a beautiful and thriving one, all of it was so vibrant; the ash, soot, and decay all added up to make nature's best all natural fertilizer, and the waves were gorgeous; courtesy of my light, giggly, and airy mood. This was the most vivid part of my dream. The setting. After this everything was blurry, or distorted.

I was being chased by a blurry figure off in the distance, and they were catching up on me fast, I turned around for a second, and they were even closer; now identifiable as a boy about my age, and a few inches taller than me. He was laughing too. I looked forward again, and soon after I was swept off of my feet, and through our fits of laughter, he put me down, and after that... Nothing.

I woke up right as he put me down... I needed to know why the good dreams slip out of your memory before you can even enjoy it, whilst bad dreams stick around to haunt you with. Every. Last. Horrific. Detail.

That always seemed to puzzle me, and was a matter to contemplate at another time, for the time being; I had to figure out how to leave the pole. Only it didn't feel like I was at the pole anymore, it was warmer, and the air was more humid, like spring directly after a light rain, and that was what it smelled like too... This confused me because when I fell asleep at the pole, it felt colder than it was here... Where was I? How did I get here? The curiosity was becoming unbearable, so I decided to get up and explore since I felt like no one else was there... I was wrong. As usual. When I sat up I heard the Wallaby (that's my nickname for Bunny) say in an exaggerated, and oh so freaking annoying tone,

"Rise and shine sleeping beauty," he paused and walked over to me, "and welcome to the Warren." he finished proudly.

"Ugh. Why am I here?" I paused momentarily in thought, "wait... did I cause it to rain inside the workshop?" I inquired in an annoyed tone, "UGH! stupid emotions that screw with my powers..." I muttered loudly

"No..." He trailed off, "Wait a minute shiela, don't go jumping to any conclusions."

"Well what the fudge did I do?"

"North said to bring you to the Warren because it was warmer here, and you were looking clammy." He replied nonchalantly

"Well then. Thank you for allowing me to stay at your Warren... Wallaby." I teased and started to walk away I heard two soft taps on the ground and watched as he popped up in front of me through one of his tunnels, blocking my path...

"I AM NOT A MARSUPIAL!" he yelled, after composing himself he continued, "Believe me Sheila, as much as I want you out of my fur, North ordered me to keep you here just in case Pitch decides to pop by the pole."

"What about the tides?" I asked, hoping to get out of being stuck here

"Manny has that taken care of."

"The rain?"

"Done, Manny is taking care of all of your duties until further notice." He replied finally

'You have got to be fucking kidding me!' I thought in anger

"No, sorry Sheila, not kidding." He replied smugly. A blush rose up on my cheeks

"Did I say that out loud?" I asked quietly... Great... stuck in the Warren with the Wallaby. What could go wrong?

If you have not gone outside 10-20 minutes after a light rain and smelled the air, I recommend doing so, it smells beautiful...
