The library was quite with just dad and I. Words seemed to fall under the 'let's not do it' category. Sam left a while ago to convince Castiel to leave and I guess put Crowley in the dungeon? I tapped my chipped fingernails on the desk watching them lift and fall again. Dad was watching me. Well, I wouldn't use watching, I would say staring. It seemed more appropriate in the instant. And he was quiet.

I drifted back to the thoughts I had before. The coffee cup I broke and the milk I carried out of the house. How much time has truly pass? Cause I don't remember anything from heaven anymore. I guess those moments just slip away from you as you spend time on earth.

"We saw Charlie. Had her in the bunker, she's hunting." I scratched my face confused. The last I heard Charlie wanted to stay as far from this shit as possible.

"Why?" I asked softly. Dad smiled softly and pulled his seat forward. Maybe because he feels good he finally got a conversation started. He knows Charlie is my weak spot.

"The same thing happened that happens to all of us." I shook my head softly. I never wanted to see Charlie actually go down this road.

"I don't want to lose her." Dad sat back again and frowned. I know he was thinking the same. From what I've seen from the two, it's like a brother-sister relationship. A small cough signaled a very tall and beat up Sam walked in.

"Crowley locked up?" Dad asks softly staring at Sam. Almost trying to read over him. What have I missed?

"Yeah. We'll do it tomorrow though." He slid into his original seat. Sam looked so tired. I was staring at him until I noticed dad looking right at the napkin setting beside him. Silence overtook the table again. No one really said anything, I don't know if it was uncomfortable or just no one knew what to say.

"Hey-uh guys," I sat forward finally thinking of what to tell them. I wanted to tell them before Castiel did, "Can I tell you something I've really never told anyone?" They both looked at me with a serious face. Obviously ready for whatever I was going to throw at them.

"Makenzie, you can always tell us whatever. Nothing is to weird for us." Sam smiles softly siting forward. His soft face gave me a strong confidence. I looked at my dad who seemed still a little out of it. He was listening intently with a beer in his hand.

"I kinda forgot to tell you when I came back but- uh," I coughed trying to build or rebuild my confidence, "I guess my heaven kinda reminded me why it was such an important detail," I looked at my dad wanting his reaction more than anything, "Um-I'm not straight but I'm not exactly lesbian." Dad coughed on his beer and sat forward. Sam stared at dad surprised. Then he looked at me and smiled.

"I guess having you running around with girls is better then men." Sam smiled softly grabbing my hand and squeezing softly. I smiled softly and looked at dad for resurgence.

"I mean- uh," dad laughed gently. It was so genuine, "I don't care Makenzie. As long as you're here with us." Dad grinned wrapping his arm around my shoulders. I wrapped my free arm around his waist and yawned softly.

I slid my feet across the floor begrudgingly. No effort was required for my short walk to the showers. I yawned and rubbed my eyes over and over again. The boys and I was up late talking and explaining everything that happened after the last few months. Apparently my few weeks was about five months for the boys.

Time really passed differently here and there. I walked into the girls bathroom and stripped. Taking a hot shower and brushing my teeth. I dressed in freshly washed clothes. Dad apparently kept washing them to make sure they were fresh. Sam told me on the walk to my room it's been rough for him lately and shit the fan but he wanted everything to be perfect here.
