Izuku's P.O.V (4 years old )
"Quirkless." The doctor spat the words with such distain and anger.
Mom rushed me out of there quickly while the doctor documented what would soon be my doom.
Dad's car was here, which was a relief. That was until mom told him what happened.
"You vile woman! How could you give birth to something so useless?" He screams pointing at me violently. "Who's supposed to carry out my legacy now!"
All of a sudden, dad paused, like an idea came to him. Then, he charges towards mom and activates his quirk, killing her before I had a chance to flinch.
He then walks over and grabs me roughly by the throat.
"Not a word to anyone." He threatens with his breath heating up by my throat.
I can only nod.
Things only got worse as time went on.
His only friend started bullying him, his dad ignored him unless he was abusing him, and he was fighting mental illness.
***Time Skip*** ( 7 years old )
Over the years I learned to be cautious, especially when he was around. So, when he said we were going somewhere, my body tensed in fear.
I followed mutely. I tried to keep my mind off of where we were going and focused more on how to get food tonight.
It wasn't long before we reached a familiar building.
His organization.
My mind supplies.
He drags me into the bar and we are greeted with Shirigaki saying,
"Dragon, it's good to see you."
Dispite the friendly wording, Mr. Hands had a shit eating grin on his face that showed excitement.
"Is it ready?" Dad growls
"Of course!" Shirigaki grins, "it'll be activated by your DNA. Since he has your DNA all you have to do is will it."
Confusion covers my face, especially when Hands pulls out what looks to be a collar.
I back away slowly as dad grins while grabbing it.
He snatches me by the collar of my shirt before saying, "This should keep you in check while preventing me from exhausting my quirk.
Before I can even try and struggle, the cool metal is against my neck.
I shudder.
Then scream as burning hot pain encases my body.
"Good. It works." I faintly hear Dragon murmur.
"We also added an obedience drug with a little help from our leader." Hands practically sings in glee, "it's activated the same way as the shock. The collar won't be able to be taken off by anyone except you. You can activate the effects no matter where you are."
"Good. Shame, come." He commands heading to the exit.
I stay still, not wanting to go with him.
"I. Said. Come!" He yells
I then feel something course through my body forcing me to obey. White hot pain comes with it.
***Time Skip*** ( 14 years old )
I have been practicing in martial arts and sword fighting.
I already cleared the use of my Katana in the entrance exam.
Granted I still have 6 months.
I'm currently out searching for a way to get food when I feel the order.
He needs me.
I grit through the pain and walk to his place.
Even after all these years, the pain is still as raw as the first time.
The pain continues until I reach Dragon and by now I'm on my knees wreaching from the pain.
"Took you long enough." He growls sending a jolt of electricity through my already reeling body. "What. Are. These."
I freeze.
He holds up my analysis notebooks, all 13.
"You trying to get me caught! You piece of shit!" He growls kicking me harshly in the ribs.
I understand his fear. Not only do I have heros in there, but villains as well. The only page as detailed as my fathers is Eraserhead's and that's because he is my favorite hero.
"Don't cling to dreams you'll never accomplish." He says throwing the notebooks harshly on my ribs.
I grunt.
"And don't out me. You'll regret it." Dragon threatens with a shock.
He walks away after that and I scurry out of his place to the ally beside it. I place my notebooks in their proper places before curling up into myself.
I shiver. It's getting cold out.
I grip my katana and calmness fills me.
I feel safe.
I pull the sword toward me and curl around it before sleep overtakes me.
Morning comes with pain and hunger, but that's not different from any other morning.
I cough and shiver.
I don't feel like moving, but the universe has other plans as I hear my classmates voices.
I melt into the shadows and as they pass I hear that they're talking about me.
I deflate.
So, not only do they beat me up and insult me to my face, but they do it behind my back too.
I sigh in defeat as toxic thoughts fill my mind.
I try to shake them off, but with no anchor, they pull me further and further into the abyss.
Until a soft meow snaps me out of it. There standing in front of me is the snow tiger by the name of Snow.
Snow has a quirk that allows him to look like a normal white tabby cat to avoid attention.
But my feline friend has decided that he rather sit in my lap in his full size.
"Really, Snow." I roll my eyes but amusement and glee fills my voice.
I feel a safety and calmness that is rare fill me.
It only intensifies as the tiger starts to purr a low deep symphony.
I soon realize warmth is filling me as well.
The tiger unexpectedly after a few moments jerks up as if he remembered something.
He then disappears only to come back with a proud strut as a cheeseburger wrapped with paper hangs from his mouth.
He drops it on my lap as he lays beside me.
"Thank you, buddy." I say stroking his fur. He meows in response after activating his quirk. The tiger is now small enough to fit in my jacket.
I start to eat the burger. Then I come to a realization.
"Was this a bribe to try to make me take you with me to the exam." I skepticaly eye the tiger-tabby with a questioning look.
Snow just purrs with a smug but innocent look on his face.
I can't say no to that.
"Fine." I sigh.
