Izuku's P.O.V
Morning came way too fast. A giant tongue licking my face coaxed me to change into my uniform.
Snow seems excited, jumping around letting out happy chuffs.
I grab my old tattered backpack and sling it carefully over my shoulder to be mindful of the still fresh wounds.
Snow activates his quirk and jumps into my jacket. I bend down and strap my katana to my belt. Then we head towards the famous hero school.
As we reach the gates of the school I can't help but wonder if mom would be proud.
Snow's mewing snaps me out of my thoughts and directs them towards finding my class.
It didn't take long to find despite Snow's beliefs.
The doors are massive and the sound of teenage hustle could be heard from inside.
I steel myself before pushing the doors open and walking into the classroom.
My body tenses as I notice Bakugo having an argument with a kid in glasses.
I slip by with expertise and sit in my desk.
Years of pain has engraved caution into me and now I don't make a sound when I walk.
It doesn't take long until the bell rings and a yellow caterpillar walks into the room.
Said caterpillar wastes no time in revealing himself as our teacher and basically telling us to shut the fuck up and get outside.
I like him already.
So, I drag myself outside after changing into my gym uniform.
"Now that your all here, I'll tell you what we're doing." The man who previously revealed himself as Aizawa said.
I take notice on how some students are giddy and others nervous.
I look back at our teacher and almost slap myself.
I can't believe I took so long to recognize my idol.
I can't help the flush that rushes to my cheeks in embarrassment.
"You'll be doing a practical in the form of an obstacle course." Aizawa-sensei drawls. "Call it a quirk assessment if you will. Of course use of quirks is allowed and encouraged, good luck."
"One more thing," Sensei adds, "last place will be expelled."
This causes the class to burst into an uproar.
"Begin!" He yells and I'm off in an instant.
Shouta's P.O.V
This years class seems somewhat promising.
A flash of instant movement after my call catches my attention.
It's the boy from the entrance exam. He flew passed the 100 meter dash and is now tackling the 10ft wall. I watch in slight awe as he gets over it as if it weren't even there. When he gets to the final obstacle which happens to be the ball throw, he does something unexpected. He runs from a distance unsheathing his katana along the way and when he reaches the line, he uses the sword to vault him into the air before throwing the ball with ease.
He finishes first and I'm slightly stunned.
I start to advert my gaze towards my other students when a sudden movement from Midoriya catches my eye.
When I turn to look his face seems to be scrunched up in pain and he is doubled over panting.
Fatigue hadn't seemed to effect him before and the way his movements were sharp instead of shaky indicated pain and not fatigue.
"Midoriya." I called, "Are you ok? Do you need the nurse?"
The greenett's head snapped my way and he seemed almost stunned I said something to him. It was almost as if he expected to blend in to the shadows.
I do admit that the kid has the uncanny ability of a pro to stay hidden and his steps make no sound.
He'd make an excellent underground hero. Unfortunately for him though, I pride my self in the fact I'm attendant to my students. That and I have enough years of experience as a underground hero that not much can slip past me.
Even if Midoriya did this morning.
"No sir, I'm fine." He responded.
His voice was quite but firm. Despite that I caught the underlying panic in his voice.
I decided not to pry and instead drew my attention towards my other students.
Izuku's P.O.V
Shit. He noticed.
Fuck you Dragon.
Pain is still coursing through my body but I choose to ignore it in favor of reviewing the results.
I got first, shit!
"DEKU!" I hear the blonde teen yell
Well, looks like the cat's out of the bag now.
"How the hell did you get in and score first?" He screams loudly storming towards me and gesturing to the score board.
I instinctly back away. Fear taking grasp in my body.
He roughly grabs the collar of my shirt and I violently flinch because, holy shit he's close to my neck. I don't like anyone near my neck.
He starts to fire up his quirk, but it doesn't work and scarves wrap around his body pulling him back.
I look up and see the owner of said cloth and am stunned to realize it's my teacher.
"Bakugo!" Aizawa growls sternly, "Harassing other students is not permitted in UA and is an exlellable offense. Do I make my self clear?"
"Yes." Bakugo huffs.
After the whole ordeal Aizawa-sensei reveals that the expellsion was only a rouse to get us to use our full strength.
The bell singling the end of the day came way to soon.
And now me and Snow find ourselves on the trek back 'home'.
Once we are a good distance from the school, Snow deactivates his quirk and walks alongside me.
He let's me lean on him, obviously aware of the pain I'm in.
My back just had to decide to act up right after I got a shock from Dragon after the practical.
I whine as a sharp pain encases my back. Snow decides enough is enough and knocks me over so I'm resting on my stomach on his back.
We soon reach the alleyway and instead of him laying me on the concrete, he lays down leaving me on his soft back.
Deep purrs erupt from him, which causes my exhausted body to once again be lulled into sleep.
A/N: For the sake of convince, when Snow is in his normal form (tiger) he will make noises like chuffs and will be referred to as tiger and when his quirk is activated he'll mew and meow. In this form Snow will be referred to as taby-tiger or simply tabby.
