Jealous

Chapter 15

Astrid and Ava were sitting in front of each other, it was silent. Astrid knew she had to tell the truth of what had happened on that day but she wasn't sure if Ava was going to believe her.

"Are you going to say something or not?" Ava asked.

Astrid sighed but nodded her head. "I need to tell you the truth about that day everything fell apart between us. But on one condition" Astrid said.

"And what exactly are those conditions?" she asked.

"You don't have to believe me but only if this feud between us can be over and be all in the past" Astrid said.

Ava was surprise she never expected Astrid to say that, she didn't know what to do next. "What happens if I don't except?" Ava asked.

"Then I won't say anything and this feud between us will last forever. Your choice" Astrid said.

Ava thought for a while and nodded her head, "Fine, I agree but no lies. Promise?" Ava said.

Astrid nodded her head, "Promise."

(Flashbacks)
Astrid was with the gang working on a new routine when someone walked in. Everyone turn their heads towards the person, it was Brandon.

Everyone knew Brandon and they also knew that Brandon was dating Ava which happen to be Astrid good friend. The gang left Brandon and Astrid alone so they could talk.

"Hey Astrid" Brandon said.

"Hey Brandon was wrong?" Astrid asked looking at Brandon expression it looked like he just went through something horrible.

"Nothing.." Brandon said.

Astrid didn't buy it she knew he was hiding something. "I know you for a while Brandon, I know something bothering you. But I can't help you if you don't tell me what it is" she told him.

Brandon looked at her and knew she wasn't going to give up if he didn't tell her what was wrong. "Ava.. she.. cheated on me" he told Astrid.

"What!?" Astrid shouted, she was shocked of what she heard. She knew Ava would never do such a thing. "Are you sure about that? I known Ava my whole life, and I don't think she would ever do that especially when I know she loves you too much for that" Astrid told Brandon.

"She was with someone else Astrid. And I know flirting when I see it" Brandon said.

Astrid sighed she knew Ava would never do that but she also knew Brandon wasn't going to stop bothering her about this if she didn't do anything.

"Fine, I'll go ask her myself. Maybe all of this was a misunderstanding" Astrid said. With that she left Brandon and went to go look for Ava and asked what was really going on.

(Back to Astrid and Ava)
"So wait, Brandon said I cheated on him?" Ava asked.

Astrid nodded her head, "Yeah, which I knew you would never do such a thing. So I thought something was odd" Astrid said.

Ava didn't know what to say, she knew Astrid wasn't lying since she told her all of this was going to be the truth and she knew Astrid would never lie to her even if they weren't friends no more. They promise each other to always tell the truth to each other.

"So wait if Brandon thought I cheated on. Who was I with at the time?" Ava asked.

Astrid sighed, she hated this part, she knew this would make Ava feel bad about herself and she hated seeing people like that. "You were with no one Ava" Astrid said.

Ava was confused she didn't understand what was going on. "What? But if I was with no one, why would Brandon say I cheated on him?" she asked Astrid.

"He just wanted to break up with you Ava" Astrid said quietly.

Ava froze, she always thought that Brandon was her were soulmates. She never thought what would happen if something like that happen. Ava started to cry she had tears coming down.

Astrid saw this and went to comfort Ava. Ava was crying so much that she didn't even care Astrid was there with her. She just couldn't believe what the truth brought.

"It's okay Ava, he didn't deserve you. You deserve so much better than that" Astrid said.

Ava wipes her tears away and look at Astrid. She knew she was right and stopped crying. "I just don't understand what I did. I thought me and Brandon were happy with each other" Ava said.

Astrid looked at Ava with a sincere look on her face, "He.. never really" Astrid said she couldn't finish the sentence because she Ava was just going to cry again.

"He never really what? Astrid tell me right now! He never really what!?Ava asked.

Astrid sighed she knew she had to be honest even if it broke someone's heart. She turned to Ava and said, "He never liked you Ava".

Ava heart broke and she started to cry again. Astrid hated seeing anyone like this. A few minutes past as Ava finally finished crying. She wiped all the tears away and looked at Astrid. "Thank you".

Astrid was surprise, she never thought she would hear Ava say something nice to her in forever. She smiled at Ava, "Of course, I will still be here for you even if we don't talk to each other no more" she told Ava.

Ava smiled at Astrid and gave her a hug. Once again Astrid was surprise at this but gladly hug back. She missed this she missed her childhood friend.

They separated as Ava began to say something, "Am sorry again for everything. I should had just listen to you from the beginning and none of this would had ever happen. I just hope you can forgive me someday".

Astrid smiled and said, "I already have. None of this was your fault to begin with. All of this was just a misunderstanding" Astrid said.

Ava and Astrid smiled at each other until someone came in. "Astrid! It's Hiccup he-" Heather said she didn't finish his sentence because Astrid got up and left the stables to go and check up on Hiccup.
