A girl with bright blonde hair shoves me out of my seat and I tumble to the ground. I look up only to be confronted by her hand striking my cheek and feet kicking me until I start to cry.
A hand reaches out to me but I flinch away thinking they are going to hit me. The hand is joined by the blue eyes I know and when I don't get up he lies on the ground next to me.
"I... I'm sorry she did that, she kind of loves me but I'm not sure." He says sheepishly.
"Good for her, but I don't need an apology."
"You might not need one but I needed to say it."
"Yeah.... Well thanks but I think I should stay away from people like I usually do."
He wipes blood off my stinging cheek but I slap his hand away.
"I don't need A prince to come and save me either OK? "
I get up and run out of the class, he follows me until I settle under A tree tending to my injuries.
"I'm not A prince Rory, I'm A decent human being." he mumbles while opening his bag and retrieving the ice block from his lunch. He places it against my forehead and continues talking.
"You are gonna need someone like me if you want to survive in A school like this."
I look at him and I try my hardest not to let tears escape from my eyes (it's not easy).
"You are not breaking any rules if you cry it just means you aren't like that bitch who hit you." The way he says that makes my tears over power my mind and they spill down my bruised cheeks. He happens to have A tissue and he let's me wipe away the tears.
"Of course you have tissues! You wouldn't be A saviour without them." I smile and throw the tissue at him.
"Told you I wasn't A prince. "
"Lies I tell you...lies. " I yell as I laugh.
"you want to go back to class? " I ask him when he takes the ice block off my head.
"Not particularly." he says while looking right into my eyes.
"Me neither. " I whisper. So we stay sitting against the tree until the bell screams out through the school and we get up walking in different directions.
"till we meet again miss Aurora Jane."
He yells to me as I walk away."till we meet again........Asher Griffith." I mumble in A barely audible voice.
