Here's a reminder for those who are reluctant in entering a new journey:
The hardest part of everything is its beginning.

This is reflected as true whether it may be about entering College, or even just accomplishing lots of paperworks. It's really hard to start something especially when you feel you might screw up the whole thing until the end. (Feel this each time!)

For instance, getting three projects done in a single night may astound you, probably would make you feel hopeless. This, sadly, may result in procrastination. It isn't unusual, especially during High School days. It's not news, but it must not be ignored.

Just like what Mark Twain said, "The secret of getting ahead is getting started." Certainly, this applies to all, since certain things have to be done chronologically, like constructing a plan.

I understand those students who fear new beginnings, especially when they are attached to the conventional. This is not a bad thing, but widening the scope of your journey is necessary for growth.

We can't just live in the same box forever. One day, we would outgrow the small space we're comfortable of. There would be an instance where this space would suffocate you. Lastly, there would be a moment wherein you will realize that being scared won't really help at all.

But the real question is, how would you draw your expected masterpiece? Simple. Just start. Start holding the pencil, start sketching out things — it may be your  target in college, or even your plan for your projects. Start small, start simple. The tendency is you would overdo if you'll start big.

Allow mistakes to be seen, or to be recognized. In this way, you would know where and how to improve. Allow change to happen, because it may spice things while you are on the process. Lastly, let optimism be your eyes. In this way, you would perceive your work positively.

Because at the end of your work duration, you would see how things had fallen into place. You would realize that you're way much farther from that start you were scared of before. You're now finally cherishing the end, the fruits of your hardwork and persistence.

Start small and start now, because you can. ❤️
