Rainy Days

I hate the rain but Blu absolutely loves it. I watched from the window as she danced around in it. She jumped from puddle to puddle just laughing. She beckoned for me to join her I shook my head no she pouted. Even though I hated rain I hated it more when she pouted.
I grabbed an umbrella and went outside.
"It's only water" she said as she jumped into another puddle. I had to admit it did look fun. So I joined her. We spent hours just playing in the rain like two mad people. Laurent had pulled up he got out of the car and looked at us like we were crazy.
We were both soaked from head to toe. We looked at each other and shrugged before following him into the house. After drying off and putting on dry clothes Laurent and I watched soccer while Blu sat in the window starring at the rain droplets.
It begin to thunder and lightening outside it didn't seem to faze her. I noticed her vibing to the thunder and rain drops hitting the window. I glanced over again and watched her dance to the rain. It was funny sometimes I wonder what she hears in that beautiful mind of hers. Lau looked over at me in confusion.
"Where the music?" He asked.
"I think she dance to the rain."
Laurent shook his head still confused.
Imani had awaken from her nap the strangest thing about it is she began dancing too. Laurent and I continued to watch them dance they look so peaceful. It's like they were in their own world. After they were done they both sat in the window. Lau and I both just shrugged.
"Come here bebe." I beckoned for her to come over.
She walked towards me and sat down on my lap.
"What's up baby?"
"Nothing just wanted you near me."
"Awwww"
Lau and Imani face palmed themselves.
"Come on Imani them need some lone time"
Once they were gone I whispered in her ear "let's go upstairs."
"Noooo." She giggled.
"Come on bebe it's non going for take long."
"You're such a beautiful liar." She said kissing me.
"But you making me so hard." I said running my finger up her thigh.
"Mmmm stooop it." She whined
"You non really want me to. You want for feel me inside you. You want for shout my name so loud neighbors going to know it. " I said as I nibbled on her ear.
"Damn it Larry why you gotta say things like that" she said smacking me with the pillow.
"What I do?" I said innocently.
"Come on and help me with dinner. "
While she cooked I continued to try my hand with getting her to follow me upstairs. Seeing that I was getting nowhere with that I instead lifted her onto the counter top standing in between her legs I began to devour her neck. I moved to her lips kissing her until she was breathless.
"Damn boy what are you doing to me." She said between breaths.
"Loving you." I said as I pressed my lips against hers again. I felt her heart pounding against me. My heart was beating just as fast. She gazed into my eyes and I just stood there lost in hers. We were broken out of our moment by the phone ringing.
I reached over and answered it. It was an collect call from prison. I handed the phone to Blu. She talked with whomever was on the other end for a moment after hanging up she grabbed her car keys and headed for the door.
"Where you going? I asked
"To bail my cousin out." She said as she shook her head "he better be lucky I love him."
I grabbed my jacket and went along with her.
Once he entered the car she read him the riot act.
"JD what the hell?"
"Kehlani don't start with me."
"The hell you mean don't start. You need to get out of these streets before something worse than prison happens."
"You say this everytime you bail me out."
"And I mean it everytime too."
"You see what I gotta put up with french boy."
I just shrugged.
"You didn't tell my mama did you?"
"Do I ever?"
"True true."
"Where am I taking you?"
"To my girls house."
We drove back to Blu's old neighborhood I'm really glad she moved. He called a girl over to him she was holding a brown paper bag.
"Here." He said handing it to Blu.
She rolled her eyes and frowned.
"Go in the house JD." She said handing him the paper bag back.
He agreed kissed her forehead and we pulled off.
Blu turned the radio on to put her mind on something else

I sat there with an nostalgic grin on my face.
"What are you smiling about" she asked.
"This was our qualifying song us dance to for world of dance."
"Oh yeah I remember that." She said
"You were so sexy showing off your abs. I almost fainted." She laughed as she fanned herself.
"Have you ever thought about competing?" I asked.
"Nope."
"Why not you so good."
"It's just not my thing."
We pulled up in the driveway she hurried back in to finish dinner. After eating. We watched a movie before she sent Imani off to bed now back to my first plan of making her scream my name.
