After we stayed at the inn, El'Nir payes the bills, we went out to the town's library to know more. El'Nir didn't like the library for some information, but we still entered it. I started by looking at the town's history, while El'Nir looks at a book which I don't know yet.
"Um, hey Mark. Look at this." She calls, and I take a peek at the book. "It seems like Altaris is a celebrity destination." She comments to a page on the book about a girl named Jane stuck in Altaris for 10 years.
"20 sectors? Huh. Maybe we live in an town with the same name..." I wonder.
"I don't know. It must have been some years later." She answers.
I then looked carefully at an empty page and to my surprise, me and El'Nir's name are effectively camoflaged in the page, and then we discover we are part of the story.
"We've got to buy our own copy." I thought, and she was thinking the same thing as well.
The librarian looks at us, and tells us to be quiet. The librarian then suddenly have her eyes fixed on us, then we looked at the empty page which magically have some text on it.
Come here, Her Own book lies within 8. N21 Alpha is my pride, The Portal is my diary.
We were both surprised and we looked back at the librarian. She opened a lever and we suddenly fell into a black room.
"What the, where are we?" I ask.
"I don't know, thats why we hate libraries!" She answers.
The lights suddenly open in the black room, and the librarian is with them.
"Are you a human?" The librarian asks me.
"Yes...?" I answer.
"I knew that. My name's Jane Frost. Leader of the Altaris Human Division. That book you have just read is my life when I was 14." She says. "What's the Leraan's name?"
"Her name is El'Nir. She's... um..." I answered.
"I'm his companion. Nice to meet you, Adviser Jane!" She continues.
"Adviser?" I whisper to El'Nir.
"Yes, sort of." El'Nir whispered back.
"I think we should go... We have to get to the museum..." I say to Jane.
"Oh, ok then. Close your eyes, then you'll find yourselves outside the library. With your own copy." Jane instructs.
We do it, and she is right. We are outside. El'Nir got her head scratched. What magic? We don't know. Then, I check my bag, I find my diary and a copy of that book. We then head to the museum.
I looked around at the museum, looking at all the arrifacts. El'Nir seems to act fine, then we quickly head out but El'Nir stops us.
"Wait, I forgot something." She says.
"What is it, eh?" I ask.
"Magic." She replies, then some Leraan approaches El'Nir, and they walk off after some minutes.
"Huh." I noticed.
"I can do magic, and I can feel your magic." She whispers to me.
I am surprised, it's been 2 days since I entered this town and I discover I have magic? I try to summon a fire, but no avail.
"Card Magic?" She suggests, and El'Nir gives me a card and I take it. I hold it in a fancy way, then throws it forward. Instead of the card falling, it levitated and then it summoned a fairy.
"Cool." I comment, then the card fall and the fairy disappears. I pick up the card back.
"You should collect more." She suggests.
She is right.
Then we head to an apartment and we sleep in a room for the night.
