We wake up, and head out to the Town Center. In my surprise, it has a gat and it blocks everyone. Beyond the gate, are hordes of monsters. Jane looks at me, and points to the gate.
"Card Magic. Open it for us." Jane says.
I walk near, and all of a sudden, all of my cards float to the gate from my bag. The gate opens, then the cards go back to my bag.
"Ooh. I think I need to learn more about my stuff. Not by human means possible." I say, then we all enter. We sneaked our way to the tiled area.
"I didn't know this part was still here." Lein comments, and we looked around.
Nothing anomalous. I thought. Then, El'Nir looked at me and nods as if she heard what I just thinked.
"Nothing anomalous. Unless we..." Jane says, then a portal appear in the north part of the tiled area and a Time Reflex hits us.
"Los Lucicarlos!" El'Nir shouted, and the portal stays in place, after the Time Reflex passes us. I looked around, and notice myself looking at us.
"Shoot." I say, then everyone looks at the same location where I saw myself looking at the portal.
"Nothing." Lein notices, then a woman appears from the portal and faints, and the portal disappeared.
"...? Are you ok, lass?" Laura asks to the woman as she puls her outside the Town Center and we follow.
The woman wakes up slowly, and sits.
"Wh... where am I?" The woman asks, and I notice her equipment. She has a bow, and a quiver.
"Altaris." I reply, somehow I know her.
"What...? Altaris... That book..." the woman mumbles, and a memory flashes back.
The 2nd person that read with me, is her.
"What's your name?" El'Nir asks.
"Carolyne... Carolyne Jess." She answers.
"Car? Is that really you?" I asked, then she looked at me.
"Mark? What... how?" She asks back. I help her stand up, and we hugged.
El'Nir looked carefully at Carolyne and after we hugged, I looked at her.
"An Amethyst." El'Nir auddenly says.
"A what?" I ask.
"Amethyst. Bow users. Archers with skill." El'Nir replies, and we both look at Carolyne.
"I don't even know how to use these things." Carolyne comments. "Stop looking."
We stop looking at El'Nir, then Jane looks at both of us.
"That makes 2 Grade 7 students in one month. What did the book look like?" Jane asks.
"It had a cicle." I reply.
"With some circles forming a gear pattern." Carolyne adds.
"And a lock that looks like the tile pattern." I add as well.
"Ooh, Illyria's Book!" Laura shouts, then Carolyne and I are confused.
"Who is Illyria?" Carolyne asks.
"A great magician. She had books like that all over every dimension." Laura answered.
"That means, if we can find that book, you 2 can get back home." El'Nir concludes, and she seems sad a bit. "Seems like your journey is about to get little bit... off."
"Ok..." I answer.
"Where on Earth...could that Illusi0n Altar be?" Carolyne asks.
"The City Center, perhaps?" Jane replies, unsure.
"I think we should all rest." I recommend. The next thing I saw, all of us in the apartment. El'Nir has done her magic.
"Magic? Huh." Carolyne says, confused and dazed a bit.
"Oh, sorry. Must have been first time teleporting." El'Nir says to Carolyne, apologizing.
Then we rest for a while.
