Early on Monday morning, Melanie was woken up by her alarm.She got out of the bed,made her bed and went to the bathroom. She did her usuall and came out after some minutes. She went into her closet and chose the best office attire for that day. She later did her make-up, making it as light as possible.
Minutes later, she came out of her room fully prepared. Getting into the kitchen, she made a cup of coffee and some toast. She took her breakfast while on her phone checking on her emails. Robert has left her a message of his arrival. She replied to his message. Finishing her breakfast, she rinsed her plate and cup and put them in the dishwasher.
Coming out of the kitchen, she took her car keys from the coffee table and walked out of her apartment. She entered the elevator and before it could close, in entered Mr Hugo, her neighbour. He was sexy as hell. He looked at Melanie and greeted her politely.
"Good morning Ms Summers?"
"Good morning Mr Hugo?" Melanie greeted back.
With greetings over, they each stood at each end of the elevator. Arriving at the elevator parking lot, they vacated the elevator and part ways, as each one of them went into their respective cars. Getting into hers, Melanie sped off to work.
Parking her car at the front of her office, she made her way into the lobby. She was greeted by her employees and she nodded her head. She occupied the elevator and the thirtieth floor button where her office was located. Floor by floor, she was counting until she reached her floor. She was greeted by her secretary who happens to be also her friend.
"Hey, Melanie!" Charlie greeted.
"Am fine and you?" Melanie greeted back.
"Okay. How was your weekend?"
"Fine" she answered.
Charlie looked at her with concern and asked,
" Just fine? What's wrong?"
" Nothing." And with that, she entered her office.
She sat at her office chair. Her room was neatly arranged and ladylike.
All day, she attended meetings and closed deals and by the end of the day, she was really really tired.

All throughout the week, she was really really busy that she was left tired.
Robert kept in touch with her, asking her of her day, her work and what she was up to the whole day.
He also narrated his encounters. How he coped up with his life in Europe. He also talked about his job. How he was helping his boss to prepare on time and also close down deals.
They also talked about their normal lives and random things. They also talked about the cottage. Melanie telling him how far the process of obtaining the cottage.
Their conversation always end by him saying,
"I love you."
And Melanie replying back;
"Love you too."
