K/DA Akali x Reader - was that a dream?

I flung my head back above the water gasping for air as I tried to swim only for the same bright, neon blue hands to grab at my ankles and pull me under again. I don't know how long this torture has been going on for, but it feels like forever.  i'm terrified of water, drowning, death in general. tears pricked at my eyes as i was pulled under again, to be met face to face by the same angry girl who had been holding me in this bright, loud, never ending ocean.

I thrashed violently in her arms air slipping out of my mouth, my eyes widened as i started choking on the water. my throat burned as the salty sea filled my lungs as they screamed for air, it hurt so bad.

My eyes tightened shut as darkness surrounded me, i was going to die wasnt i?

my eyes shot open to find i was being chocked by the girl, i threw a punch at the side of her face knocking her over. i gasped for breath taking in  as much as i could as tears flew down my face. "wh-why do you want me dead?!" i choked out coughing wildly backing up as the girl walked towards me an angered expression in her eyes.

she shook her head at me displeased taking the mask that she had been wearing off. "you left me, do you understand how long i have been looking for you? let me tell you, too long, you need to feel the pain i felt when you disappeared" she hissed. "I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE!" i yelled, i could feel my legs shaking as another tear fell from my eye. her eyes widened and she seemed to get even more mad, "excuse me? you think you can just sit here and tell me you don't know who i am?" her eyes narrowed again and she pulled a ring off her finger. "do you recognize this? at all? we were going to get married (y/n)!" she growled her fist punching the floor next to me.

i whimpered lightly covering my face with my arms. she stayed quiet for a minute before i heard her speak in a hushed voice, "you really don't remember me do you?..." she asked a sad voice in her tone. "i-i'm sorry? i don't think iv'e ever met you, but i don't remember a lot from before i got into that plane crash..." i murmured.  "plane crash?.." i looked up to see her confused. "baby i..." she sighed and shook her head leaning forward kissing me lightly, her hand touched my arm smearing it with a neon bright blue color. i made a light noise wrapping my arms behind her neck before suddenly everything was bright.

i opened my eyes groggily realizing i was in my room in my bed. i looked around for a minute before sitting up yawning and stretching my back reaching my arms out. my eyes widened as i realized my arm was... glowing?...

i looked at my arm to see a    b r i g h t   n e o n   b l u e    p a t c h   tattooed into it.
