Chapter 4

After I told Ruby about everything I know about her mom so far, she seemed so sad and depressed, it was good that Ozpin asked her team to come with her, they comforted her until she finally accepted reality, I felt really bad though Summer was only close to me for a while, she was the one who introduced me to 'her' though.

Everything was so awkwardly silent until Ozpin spoke,"Well now since you know why I asked Y/n to come here, I also asked her to come to keep you guys company as a secondary teacher, from now on after school you guys will meet up with Y/n and hopefully learn something." I looked at those four and they gave Ozpin a nod

Us five walked out while Qrow just stayed and spoke with Ozpin, they were all very confused by this situation and Ruby was upset of course so I just decided we should all just rest,"Hey... you guys should get some rest, that was a tough conversation I'm gonna go get some air" they all nod in agreement except for Ruby who has her head down I walked out and decided to visit the forest to find a tree to relax on.

Blake's POV

We walked Ruby towards our dorm and Weiss helped her to sleep, Yang just stood there anxiously, Yang is Rubys sister so I understand the position she's in right now, I had to relax myself a bit too, I walked towards the window and looked at the sky as I was about to read I caught a figure walking towards the forest why would someone want to go to the forest at this time

even though it was noon there could be some Grim still out there,"Hey there's someone walking towards the forest, I know I'm being nosey but I'm gonna go check it out" Weiss and Yang looked at me they nodded and looked back at Ruby who was sound asleep

"But if your gonna go out then we're coming too" Yang says walking towards the door while Weiss follows along I smiled a little and we walked out and went towards the forest.

Y/n POV

The afternoon sun is still pretty bright, I lean against one of the trees that covered some of the sun from my head, I closed my eyes and tried to relax until I heard a branch crack, I opened my eyes and faced towards where the noise came from, who would also be coming back from the forest at this time that's what I though...

I...I couldn't believe who I was looking at....,"Cinder?" I stopped leaning against the tree to get up and looked at the Amber eyed figure confusingly

"It has been a long time Y/n" I took a small step back I didn't know what to do,"you look so unwelcoming Y/n, have you missed me?"

Missed you?! W-what!?,"why would I miss you after all those times!" She glared at me,"that was rude has my little lion start learning to disrespect me now" I was furious!

My head was spinning,"Don't Think I Don't Remember!, You Made Me Lose Someone I Had Cared For!" I could see she was also a bit frustrated,"She Deserved It!" I was shocked, I clenched my fist,"S-she...She didn't even do anything to you!" I tried my best to hold in my anger, I didn't want to alert the Grims,"SHE was the reason why you broke up with me!, how could you be this dense!"

I looked down...Ive had enough with her acting like she didn't do anything wrong,"I...I broke up with you because we were too different we didn't believe in the same thing, she and I believed in the same justice, after the genocide at the village... I've changed...I realized that I didn't gain anything from causing the mess, and she was the one who made me realize that, all you wanted to do was kill and commit things that didn't gain but lose everything, I started to grow sick of your way of taking care of me, so that's why I moved on to someone who Was more reasoned" there was a death glare in Cinders eyes that I've never seen it before,"Your just blind"

I snap back "and your too possessive" this chat is getting me thinking about the past I wanted to forget then she says,"I'm not gonna argue with you all day, but Im gonna say this" I looked at her and she grinned,"Nina wasn't a waste of time Killing, her death has gained me something, and that was seeing you being miserable, you think I'd kill her without knowing that her powers would transfer to you, your lucky Ozpin had rescued you before I got to assassinate you, your lucky I gave you time to grow stronger"

how dare you...,"why don't you try killing me now, I tried protecting Nina from you! I knew all you wanted was her powers, you wanted the power of the Winter maiden! You tried to use us!"

I know she's trying to get me mad, and she is angering me, but I'm so mad I charged at her only see her disappear into air,"god damn it!"

I didn't realized I had used my semblance and accidentally knocked down the tree on impact, when the tree fell I heard a shriek, they followed me...?

I didn't bother mentioning it because I was too pissed,"Hey you guys can come out now, I'm done being mad" Blake came out first and after her was Yang then Weiss hiding behind Yang."W-who was that?" I looked faced towards them,"It was my old rival or my Ex-girlfriend"
Weiss then came out,"I-I told them it was bad to follow you but we did, we're so sorry" While she was apologizing I had not realize how...cute- no what?

What am I thinking,"It's alright, at least we didn't cause any trouble" as I walked towards them I heard some loud noises oh no!

"We should get going fast, the tree has attracted the Grims from far away!" We all hurried back to the dorms because we were in such a rush I didn't realize I also went into team RWBYs dorm, and I saw Ruby laying there peacefully sleeping,"she needed that rest didn't she" Yang turned to me,"Yeah...my baby sister hasn't heard anything about Summer for so long, it was sad to hear about what happened exactly to her, I don't even think my dad knew, well I guess I can say thanks for the info" I nod

I checked the time 8:06 pm,"it's pretty late right now, if you'll excuse me I'll get going, oh and-" I look at them,"so sleep well, today was quite a day wasn't it" the three of them looked at me as I left,"Good Night girls"

as I walked out the room I heard someone said,"If only I was as brave as her..." Brave? I don't deserve to be called Brave... im a coward I ran when me and Nina were in danger, I was weak I couldn't even protect her from something I caused...

I need to rest I enter my dorm and look out the window,"the stars are going to keep you safe, for now, until I am able to get you back"... I lay back on my bed and closed my eyes...what a day...I was so tired I didn't realize I fell asleep.
