I'd rather be your absinthe,
than your cup of tea.

-Nikita Gill

It's so unlike him to attend parties, getting wasted and drunk, flirting with some random girls he never met before.

The loud music echoed through the room as he walked in staggering steps, making his way to the bar chair on the corner of the room—away from the crowds filled with wasted and horny human beings dancing erotically to the beat.

His head is throbbing from all the voices and the alcohol his body has consumed as he slowly slapped his face with both his palms, trying to regain consciousness.

His eyes are dead empty as he called the bartender, "absinthe." He murmured as his head hit the cold tiles of the long table.

There's a red light going on his head warning him to stop but right now, he has no control over his body.

His ears caught the sound of the glass being placed next to him, his head is still pressed to the table as his right hand is going aimlessly so that he'll be able to grab the alcohol he ordered earlier.

He slowly lifted his face as his eyes are glaring at the green liquor on the tiny glass, he put it closer to his nose as he slowly exhaled and gulped it in one shot.

As soon as he's finished, he put the empty glass back on the table harshly as the liquor started to take control—giving him the burning sensation he had never felt before.

His sloppy eyes somehow caught a sight of a brunette girl sitting close to him, as she's talking to a group of her friends and a smile plastered on his face.

"Hello, excuse me." He said as he leaned closer, the girl glanced at him as the group of girls frowned, giving him the cold shoulder but he didn't bother. "You look so hot." He mumbled as his head dropped on to the cursive of her neck, he hummed couple of times but it wasn't clear.

"Thank you, you're cute and why are you all here alone?" She asked as she is playing with a strand of her hair, throwing him a cheeky smile as her hand slowly grabbed for his chin.

Because she left me.

"Because I'm single." He answered as he leaned closer to the brunette girl, his sight is hazy but he can still see the bold red lips of hers. "I'm Sean." He introduced as he tried to stood up from his chair, just to stumble and trip.

"I refuse to believe that, wasted guys like you are always acting up when they got their heart broken." She scoffed as he helped him up, their eyes met as he leaned his head closer to her—leaving no space between the two. A slanted smile appeared on his face,

"does that even matter, baby?" He teased as his fingers caressed through her arm. Her eyes clearly shows that she is interested as she wrapped her hands on his waist.

Sean's hand made it's way through her thigh as he slowly gripped it harshly and pulled her body to his, a small giggle erupted from her mouth as her hands are rubbing the back of his neck.

She pecked his cheeks as their lips met and shared a passionate kiss, she wrapped her legs around his waist as he scooted to the wall behind them.
