The Crossroad. [FINALE]

Hoseok makes his way around the Starlight entertainment company with his lawyers right behind him but soon all the files in his hands are now on the floor, thanks to the stranger he collided with. Surprisingly, he was short- just like a kitten, he could say. Immediately helping the chief with the files, the boy bows an apology, "I am so sorry, Sir! I'm Min Yoongi by the way, the new trainee."
"I'm Jung Hoseok from the FBI, could you help me find my way to your CEO's cabin?"
"Sure! That'd be a pleasure!"

Only if they knew what they were about to witness.

"Dad, please tell me." Seokjin practically begs his father to tell him why he was bought to his cabin, "I have work to do-"
"Did you just say you wanted to help save that CEO? What will the audience expect from us?"
"What do you mean?" The young brunette turns to face the man sitting stiffly on the chair behind the desk.
"I've worked so hard to bring that company down."
"Dad, you-"
"I used you. To get him. The day he came over for dinner, I was the one who stole his watch."
"How could you steep so low, Dad? We were trying to have a treaty!"
"Everything I did was for you to flourish in this corrupt industry, son."
"You're no different. I didn't want the company nor do I want to fucking flourish."
"Language!"
"Fuck you. I'm going to the police."
"No, you won't." The old man pulls out a gun from the drawer, "Stay right where you are or-"
"Or what? You'll kill me? Go ahead. This clearly shows what you did was for your own goddamn self. You don't care about me or my brothers or my mother but only yourself."
"Shut your mouth, Seokjin."
"Truth hurts, doesn't it? So let me tell you, I am in love with Taehyung. I am into men."
"You're a disgrace to the family." He snorts, not putting the gun down.
"And so are you, I'm callin-" Before he could finish his statement, there's a huge echo. Jimin rushes in, his heart beating at an inhuman pace.
"What did you do to him?! Jin, listen! Jin!" The blonde takes the brunette's head in his lap, blood soaking his pants but he couldn't care less, "Please, please. Oh God, someone call the fucking ambulance!" He yells as Yoongi and Hoseok's team steps in.

"Get away from the body." The chief says but he was adamant.
"Ji-Jimin, I-I," He coughs, "I got the conv-conversat-sation on the t-tape." Tears accumulate in both of their eyes as the old man stands still, his blood running cold.
"What the fuck are you doing?!! Call the fucking ambulance, you blind fucks!" Jimin cries louder, "Don't worry, you'll be fine. You want to see T-Taehyung, right? He- He will be right here. Please, please hold on a little longer."
"It-It's ok-okay." Seokjin coughs once again, this time his grip on the crying male loosens, "He'll be proud of y-you, Jimin. It w-was ni-nice meeting you." And those were his last words before his eyes close and his hands fall of his masculine figure.

The cabin was sealed with 'Crime scene. Do not enter.' tapes as Jimin stood aside crying, Yoongi staying to comfort him. Hoseok was completely shocked, absolutely stunned. The first case in his hands was a murder while he was right outside.

It was all a plan. After the meeting at Jimin's house, Seokjin had asked Taehyung's father to post a fake article on the newspaper which would trigger the old man. Thankfully, the first stage worked pretty well but what they weren't aware of was how selfless the owner was and how he could kill his own son for his own safety. It was supposed to be a confirmation that the owner of The Starlight company had nothing to do with the crime but it was clearly proven false.

The tape was handed to the lawyers and they made sure to make copies of it. They were going to bring justice to Seokjin's sacrifice and an innocent life which was lost because of the burning fire of jealousy and revenge. After the body was out of the building and Jimin's body had run out of tears, Yoongi accompanied him to the prison to find the love of his life.

"Taehyung, we did it. We proved you innocent." Jimin cries, not sure of his emotions.
"We? And why are your clothes soaked in blood?! Are you fine, baby?"
"Seokjin and I are what I meant by us."
"Where's Seokjin?" He asks as the guard lets him out of the cell.
"He's gone." He bursts into a fit of tears but now, he had Taehyung's hug, "His father killed him because he was gonna report him to the police about Kang Yiwha's murder." And after that, no one spoke a word.

Yoongi made his way to the desk where Hoseok was arranging some files, "Need help?"
"Looks like I could use some." He gives him a conflicted smile as he places the photographs of the dead man near the elder, "He was a handsome man."
"And very charming. I loved him since the time he came to judge my audition."
"He did?"
"Yes, he was very responsive and took care of even the most minor activities happening in the company."
"That makes me feel sad even though I've witnessed so many murders."
"I feel you. Maybe a coffee can help?"
"I'd love that. But why are you volunteering to do all of this?"
"I want to make sure that the old man faces extreme charges for everything's he's ever done and you look like the 'handsome protagonist who brings justice to the innocent.'
"Let's hang out then. Staying here won't get me anywhere."
"Sure! My favorite place's outside the library. You can relax there." And with that, they both make their way to the local cafe.

Namjoon and Jungkook were cuddled up on the couch watching the live broadcast of what had happened. The younger's cheeks were wet with tears as the blonde consoles him, "He did it, Jungkook-ah." He pats his back.

The tragedy had affected the people of the city. The roads were empty for weeks and none of the young men stepped out of the house. Yoongi spent nights at the office, helping Hoseok whereas Namjoon and Jungkook were frequent visitors at the library, checking on the part-time librarian who was back to his job. Taehyung had officially come out to his father after making statements for the media. The response was very gentle and his old man was glad the one he chose was Jimin. The owner of Starlight company will face charges for not paying taxes, trafficking of drugs, opening illegal bars and the murder of two innocent people.

This was a roller coaster of emotions but finally, everyone was back to their jobs. The 6 young men had started bonding at the cafe. After visiting Jin's funeral, all of them stayed back at the graveyard and that's how their friendship began. They say the end to something tragic is always beautiful and nothing could be more beautiful than everyone finding their soulmates.

The End.
