"Have my team, Park. That's the maximum help I can provide." The old man places a pat on the other's shoulder and leaves the room. Jimin was faced with a group of absolutely elite people, who were known for their work in the underground world. It was an overwhelming experience for him especially when he was battling with his own self. All he knew was he wanted to prove Taehyung's innocence. It was enough to drive him nuts.

Fiddling with a pen, he takes a seat on the conference table. Not even he himself was aware of his actions. Risky or not, he wanted to do it and the next thing the team knew was Jimin inside Starlight Entertainment in a whole new avatar. He had given up on his part-time job, a big step for him towards his goal, he believed. Chaotic would be the right words to describe the surroundings around him. The commotion has caused him to almost give up but his conscience hits back when the CEO comes in his sight. Ethereal, he thought. How could someone be so exquisitely charming?

"I'm sorry- Oh! Mr. Kim!" Jimin acts out after 'coincidently' colliding with someone he wanted to meet, "I'm reporter Park Jimin from N16 news."
"Oh yes, yes. You're here for an interview I suppose? Which was scheduled at 5, yes, Charlotte?" His assistant answers him with a dandy 'Yes, Sir' before he speaks again, "You're quite early, Mr. Park."
"I'm so sorry for the inconvenience but I have some errands that need serious attention after 5 in the evening and I definitely didn't want to mess up our interview for today. I've received information from the desk saying that your appointment slots are free from 3 pm onwards."
"Indeed. Let my assistant guide you to my cabin while I check up on our marketing department. Thank you for joining us." He bows and walks away with grace.

"Apologies if I've kept you waiting for long! You may begin." Seokjin gestures for everyone to leave his cabin as the interview begins. The reporter starts with casual questions including 'What is the next step for your most famous girl group' and 'Have you thought of collaborations' until he feels it's the right time to strike.
"I'm sure your company was in extreme grief after Ms. Yiwha passed away," The elder's expression changes, his face now covered with streaks of conflict, "Do you have something that you'd want the audience to know?" He smirks to himself as he asks.
"You're right. Our grief towards the unfortunate turn of events cannot be expressed in words. The company has decided for our artists to have a break in order to send our condolences to her family and friends."
"What can you say about the accusations made on KBC's CEO Kim Taehyung? Do you think it was valid?" A sting of pain crosses right through his chest as he continues the interrogative session.
"I think it's very invalid."
"Why do you say so?"
"I'm aware of how entertainment companies work. Him being the CEO of one of our number one competitors, I think it would an absolutely insane choice to go and murder the artist your company has allegations of misbehaving with. That makes him too obvious as a suspect."
"Could you elaborate your point further?"
"I think I'll let the FBI do their work, after all, I'm no detective. But I'm sure of one thing."
"What is it?"
"Kim Taehyung is innocent."
"How were your relations with the mentioned person, Mr. Seokjin?"
"He is a very dear friend of mine. No matter how bad situations get between us in terms of business, we always get back to laughing and having drinks at the end of the day. I think what makes us extremely close is how we've been handed such huge companies at such a young age."
"Well, that's it. Thank you for your co-operation, Mr. Kim Seokjin." The young blonde flashes a warm smile towards the CEO and gets up from his seat to exit the room when he hears the other man speak again.
"Mr.Park Jimin, thank you for investing your time in this interview. I'm expecting a great article."
"Thanks to you it will have a personal touch." Jimin turns around to face him.
"I never wanted Taehyung to be locked up. As I said, he's very dear to me. I could say I see him as my other half."
"Can we expect a little help from Starlight's side then?"
"I will do anything in my power to save my friend." And with a nod in response, he leaves.
