'Sirius Enterprise has finally launched their 5th co-operation project with JS Entertainment.'

the spring weather in March was comforting. it wasn't cold nor too hot, wasn't raining nor was it too sunny. it was perfect for the start of the new semester.

hana plugged her earphones in, walking past countless of buildings that had banners of Sirius Enterprise up and blocking the news that was projected on the tallest building in the city.

she hummed to herself, the sweet and catchy tune of IU's voice echoing in her ear. it was blossom season, and hana couldn't help but stare in awe at all the flowers and trees swaying as the wind brushed against it.

her school wasn't far from her home but she preferred to take the longer route, through parks so she could relax and through the city so she could grab herself something to eat for breakfast. she hated eating at home. eating alone on a massive dining tablet surrounded by 15 chairs and only one filled in by her. it was depressing.

she continued to chew on the soft cream bun as she turned the corner, her high school was finally in sight. there was still about 10mins till registration so hana walked slowly, not wanting to enter. school was boring to her, she was average in her grades, didn't participate in many activities. she felt as if there was no spark to her life at the moment, everything seemed boring.

finally entering the gates and chucking her rubbish into the bin, hana whipped out her phone, seeing over 60 messages from her friend's groupchat. they all seemed overjoyed with the fact that school was starting again and entering grade 11.

straightening her uniform which was a grey skirt that sat midway between her knee and the top of her thigh, a white shirt that had a red checkered bow at the collars and a navy blue blazer. she didn't like her uniform nor did she hate it. it was better than her old yellow uniform anyways.

once hana reached the school board, she noticed that the class she would be with for the next year all consisted of people she knew and half were her friends. she smiled at the thought of the next crazy year that would take place but was then replaced with a frown, realising she had got to school too late to get a good seat at the back.

"kim hana!" a small high pitched sweet voice yelled once the girl entered her classroom.

hana smiled widely once seeing her group of friends sat at the far right of the classroom, right beside the window and right at the back.

"saved me a seat?" hana asked tilting her head to the side which only caused her friends to roll their eyes.

"not even a hello? we haven't seen you in like two weeks, where the hell have you been?" junghye asked, sitting on the desk, her right leg propped up on the chair and her pony tail swinging side to side.

hana rolled her eyes at the thought of the past two weeks and shivered.
"my seat right?" she rhetorically asked, ignoring the girl whilst kicking chaeyeon's feet off her chair as she was resting her long legs on it.

"yeah." the girl replied before suddenly wrapping her arm around hana's neck, head locking her.

"yah!" hana yelled, falling into her chair.

"what? were you in America again?" hyemi asked, pulling a chair towards them, her legs landing side by side of it.

hana sighed and nodded which only caused the atmosphere to tense up. sensing it, junghye joked, "just because you were in America doesn't mean you can ignore our messages."

hana rolled her eyes again as her friends began to tease her. the four had been friends ever since hana joined the high school which was only a year ago.

"you know, we have to join at least three clubs this year." chaeyeon said, taking out her notebook. the three other girl's groaned. luckily enough for chaeyeon she had always been the class president and top student of their year so she didn't have to join many clubs.

"I have to join two more?" hana groaned, not wanting to commit to anything else. she was already part of the broadcasting team along with hyemi and they hardly ever needed to do things.

"why don't you guys join the basketball team?" chaeyeon suggested, which a chorus of groans could be heard again. the four were great basketball players but didn't always have the energy to play.

"I'll think of something." hana said, already having film club in mind.

"alright class!" mrs oh, who seemed to now be their teacher for the year yelled, entering the classroom.
junghye and hyemi scrambled into their seats which was only in front of chaeyeon and hana's.

"wait miss!" a female student yelled, getting up from her seat and rushing to the classroom door. she was folllowed by many other students who were smiling like crazy.

"must be them." junghye said scoffing, leaning against her chair as her legs once again propped up onto her desk, her hands slipping into her blazer pocket.

hana felt her heart race, picturing the tall boy walking down the corridor. them always referred to the popular kids of the school; kim mingyu, kang minhee, lee eunsang, kim wooseok and keum donghyun.

"they're in our class?" hyemi asked, her eyes lightening up.

"yeah." chaeyeon replied, watching as two familiar boys walked into the classroom.

"park junghye!" eunsang yelled, not bothering that the teacher was there. junghye rolled her eyes at the boy, her eyes glaring at him, telling him to shut up and sit down.
another boy walked in, donghyun and he waved at the four girls before sitting beside the red haired boy.

these were hana's friends. the two boys and the three girls. however, the one that made her heart flutter wasn't in her class nor her friendship group. it was kang minhee, vice president of the school and in 12th grade.

"god i haven't seen her in two weeks and she's getting prettier."
