Okie, so this one shot contains endgame spoilers, so again don't read past this point if you haven't seen the movie.

I decided to make this entirely based on Tony's funeral scene, and endgame itself, only in this AU, Tony and Steve were married, and they adopted Peter and Morgan.

You can play the song I linked to set the sad mood. It's the song they play during this scene in the movie.

Get ready for a tear jerker :(((

Steve's POV

My hands trembled as I slipped on my black jacket, straightening my tie as I walked out of the bathroom.

A slight sniffling echoed from down the hall. I walked over to see Peter kneeling on his bed in his room, the Spider-Man plushie Tony gave him as a joke in his hands.

I walked over, laying a hand on his shoulder. Peter jumped, turning around o look at me. His eyes were red and swollen, his nose dripping from all the crying.

I enveloped him into a tight hug, letting him sob into my shoulder.

"Hey, Peter, it's ok. You have to be strong, I know you're hurting, but you have to be strong." My voice was wobbling slightly as I tried to hold myself together.

"I-I'll try." Peter choked out, and I lifted his head up, stroking his cheek. He got up, adjusting his blazer as I helped him with his tie.

Morgan came in, wearing a little black dress. Pepper was with her, sadness and sympathy written all over her face as she looked at me. I gave a weak smile, and she walked over, hugging me gently.

"I'm sorry Steve. I know how much you loved him." She whispered in my ear, and I almost broke down.

"I did, I loved him so much." I was on the verge of tears.

"Come one, it's time." Pepper said when she pulled away, grabbing little Morgan's hand as they walked towards the front door.

Pepper opened the door, walking out with Morgan, and I followed her with Peter.

Everyone turned to look at us. Everyone wore faces of sadness and despair. Considering the occasion, it made sense. Everyone here had a connection to Tony in some way.

Eyes followed us as we walked down to the lake, Pepper and Morgan kneeling on the wooden dock.

Morgan laid down a little bouquet of flowers, a glass box with Tony's original arc reactor in it on top. Little words were engraved into the metal plaque on the box.

Proof that Tony Stark has a heart.

The flowers floated off into the water as all my memories came flooding into my mind.

"Steve!" Tony yelled.

"What's wrong baby?!" I asked with concern.

"I need a hug." Tony whined, and I enveloped him into a tight hug.

"Mmmm." Tony sighed as he sank into me.

"I love you." I whispered.

"I love you too." Tony said, kissing my lips.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Tony, I've been thinking, we should adopt again." I said nervously.
"Did you read my mind? I was thinking that too." Tony smiled.
"But Peter's 13, does he want a sibling?" I asked, scratching the back of my neck.
"You worry too much, he'll be fine with it." Tony smiled, kissing me.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tony's eyes were filled with love and care as he watched our new daughter walk over to us.

"Dad?!" Morgan screamed with joy. Tony beamed, going in to hug her.

"Yes Morgan, these are your new dads." The social worker exclaimed with a smile on her face.

"What do I call you?" Morgan asked innocently, pointing at me.

"Call him pops." Tony said, and I rolled my eyes slightly at his silly name.

"Ok! Hi Pops! Hi Dad!" Morgan jumped up and down.

I scooped her up, taking Tony's hand and walking out to the car with a quick thank you to the social worker.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Peter, meet Morgan, your new sister!" Tony said excitedly.
Morgan was being shy around Peter, but Peter only smiled with joy.
"Hey Morgan, I'm Peter!" He said, crouching down in front of her.
"Hi! How old are you?" Morgan smiled, hugging Peter.
"13!" Peter exclaimed.
"Ooo! I'm almost three!" Morgan squealed.
"Can I see your room?!" Morgan jumped up and down, grabbing Peter as she dragged him off into the hallway.
I wrapped an arm around Tony's waist.
"That went well." Tony smiled at me. I leaned down, kissing his forehead.
"Yes it did." I agreed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I felt a tear slip down my face. Peter noticed it, grabbing my hand and squeezing it softly. Morgan ran over to me, hugging me as tight as she could. I hugged her back, crouching down to her level, and Peter followed. We stared at the water, the white and red flowers drifting away.

"I love you 3000 Dad." Morgan whispered, and I almost burst into tears. I let a few slip down my cheeks, kissing the top of her head.

"We all do Tony. We all love you. Goodbye." I said, scooping Morgan up and walking back to the front of the crowd.

"Goodbye Tony, I love you." I whispered
