"Steeeeeeeveeee!" Tony's voice rang out from the lab. Steve sighed, slipping his bookmark in his book.
"Yeah Tony?" Steve said, peeking into the lab. Tony was covered in grease, his hair messy and clothes dirty. Steve walked over, kissing Tony's forehead, the one spot not covered in car grease.
"I need help, I'm programming my autopilot and the tools are too far!" Tony whined, and Steve chuckled.
"Sure baby." Steve said, and Tony made his way to the ladder, clinging on so he could reach the tall screen. His rough hands danced along the hologram. None of it made sense to the super soldier, but all Tony had to do was say a tool and Steve could grab it.
"Steve! Wrench!" Tony called out, and Steve dug in the tool box.
"Here you go Tony!" Steve said, handing the wrench over. Tony grinned, trying to fix an error when the ladder started to tilt.
"Tony! watch out!" Steve cried, and Tony's ladder fell, Tony along with it. The super soldier caught the genius, holding him bridal style as the ladder crashed to the floor, making a loud sound.
A small crying sound erupted from the living room, barely audible over Tony's groaning.
"Shit." Tony groaned, and Steve carried him out to the living room, lying him down on the couch.
Peter was crying, clutching a pillow to his small chest. Steve scooped him up, sitting next to tony while bouncing the small toddler in his lap.
"You alright baby?" Steve asked, stroking Tony's hair with his free hand.
"I twisted my arm when you caught me." Tony groaned, holding it tightly.
"I'm sorry." Steve whispered, and Tony sat up, groaning in the process.
"Mm, not your fault." Tony said, pressing his lips to Steve's.
Steve kissed back, and Peter giggled between them. Tony laughed against Steve's lips, and Steve smiled.
"I love you." Steve whispered into Tony's ear.
"I love you too." Steve replied.
"And I love you toooooo!" Tony said, pinching Peters cheeks. The toddler squealed, making Steve and Tony laugh.
They stayed cuddling on the couch for the rest of the day, Peter giggling and Steve and Tony laughing.
Okie, I'm sorry, this is not one of my better ones. This weekend is really hard for me and I have severe writers block, so I don't think I'll be posting until Monday or Tuesday.
I'm really sorry.
