"Fuck.. I only have 100 dollars left.. I need to find a different job, soon."
Sean whispered to himself while sitting in the tent. He knew that he could work part time or full time, but he didn't know where. He didn't want to get caught either. Right when he was about to read the newspaper, Daniel bursts in through the tent.
"Sean! Come on! I wanna show you something! But you have to close your eyes!"
"What? Why-"
"Just close your eyes and take my hand!"
"Okay okay... But if I fall, I'm blaming you."
"Boo hoo. C'mon, I'll lead you!"
Sean closed his eyes once they exited the tent, they only walked a little way.
"Alright, what do you think it is?"
"Uh... A grizzly bear about to eat me?"
"I'm not THAT mean! Open your eyes!"
Sean then opened his eyes, seeing everyone gather around, holding a birthday cake.
"Surprise!"
They yelled while confetti went towards me and everywhere.
"Woah. I... Thank you guys. I don't even know what to say."
Sean said softly while smiling. He always thought these guys are like family.
"No problem Sean! We decided to throw you a party since you took a hit for us on your own birthday."
"You guys didn't need to. But thank you so much... I mean it."
"Don't get all mushy on us Sean! Let's have some cake everyone!"
Finn said while Ingrid and Anders got some plates and forks.
"It's your favorite Sean."
As they cut the cake open, it was an ice cream cake with regular vanilla in the middle.
"Hell yeah man! Aww ice cream cake was always my favorite ever since I was little. So this little wolf who told you was my birthday, was it Daniel?"
"Who else would've known?"
Sean looked over at Daniel, who looked happy and energized.
He walked over and slightly ruffled Daniel's hair.
"What?" Daniel asked softly.
"Thanks bro. You planned it, didn't you?"
"I don't know what your talking about..."
Daniel mumbled while looking away. Sean could obviously tell it was him.
"Thanks Daniel. I'll make your birthday special also."
Sean ruffled Daniel's hair again.

After 2 hours, it was only 12 pm.
Sean was just browsing through the newspaper, trying to find a job. Just mostly part time.
He circled the ones that are part time.
"Whatcha doin' cutie?"
Finn asked as he sat down beside him.
"Trying to find another job. It's hard, since I can't really be seen. I hope the case just fucking drops or something..."
"C'mon, don't be like that. I doubt anyone knows what happened and who you are. I mean, it's been 3 years since it happened. I'm pretty sure they don't know who you are. Are you thinking about heading into that small town?"
"Yeah.. I gotta make money somehow."
"Want me to come with you?"
"If you want to, but you don't need to if you don't want to-"
"Then it's settled! I'll go with you into town."
"That was fast."
They both chuckled and Finn stood up, holding out a hand for Sean. He took it and got pulled up.
"I should go talk with Daniel about us going into town."
Finn nods.
"I'll be right here."

When Sean found Daniel and sat beside him.
"Hey Daniel."
"Hi Sean."
"I'm going out for a bit. I'm heading into town to-"
"Can I come?"
"Daniel, I'm just heading to town to find a job or a part time job at least."
"Pleeeeaase?"
"You already know my answer Daniel. You have to stay here and keep an eye out."
"I promise to behave..."
"You said that yesterday. Now we don't have work or a job."
"Fine..."
He gave me a pouty face and turned away.
"C'mon niño... Don't frown."
Daniel turned completely away from him.
Sean sighed and turned him around.
"How about this... I'll buy you something in town? Since you've worked hard for the past few days."
"...you promise?"
"Of course niño."
"Okay..."
Sean patted his back and ruffled his hair.
"I'll be back soon."
"Be careful."
"I will little wolf. You too and behave."
Sean then stood up and walked back over to Finn.
"Alright, you ready?"
"Of course. When am I never?"
Sean chuckled and they both headed into town. It was about a 45 minute walk. Only if you take your time.
"So, what kind of job are you going to get?"
"I thought about going to the skate shop for work. Either that or do dishes at this one diner."
"That's good Sean. If you ever struggle on money, then I'll help you."
"You really don't need to Finn. I feel bad if I take other people's money."
"Don't feel bad. We're all struggling on money right now."
"I know. I'm glad you came along Finn."
"Someone's gotta protect you from weirdos."
"Uh huh... I wouldn't be talking if I were you."
"Hey! I'm no weirdo!"
Sean chuckled softly while putting an arm around his shoulders, and Finn did the same.
