It was now 11:06 pm. Sean was slightly tired, but he managed to stay up while driving on the rode. Finn was still fast asleep in the passenger seat. Sean stopped at a visitors place to just map out where they were going.

Sean was at the rest stop while using only the lamp post as light. He found a marker and marked the map that leads to Daniel. He honestly looked lost and....somewhat sad. It wasn't the map that made him feel or look that way.
Earlier while at the rest stop, he ran into some dudes that were racist. It made him pissed off. But he hated using his powers for bad, so he let them beat him up. He couldn't fight back..
Finn eventually woke up and opened his eyes a bit, seeing that they were at a rest stop. He noticed that they stopped and Sean was outside, under the lamp post. He decided to quietly open the car door, and walked over to Sean quietly.
Sean on the other hand, was thinking and looking at the map. Finn snuck up behind Sean and leaned into his ear.
"BOO."
Sean immediately turned around and lifted Finn up in the air with his powers. Finn was a bit surprised by that and chuckled a bit.
"Did I scare you?" He asked softly while Sean's eyes widened a bit, putting him down gently.
"Jesus Finn... You scared me..." Sean mumbled softly and wiped away something from his eye. Finn noticed and got in front of him, stopping him from wiping away something. He saw that there was tears in his eye, and had a bruise on the bottom of it.
"Sean..." Finn said softly while Sean looked away and continued to look at the map.
"I'll be fine, I just fell-"
"Bullshit. I know you're not that clumsy." Finn said a bit sternly and checked his face. Sean let him and tried not to give it away.
"Who did this to you?"
"... I don't know."
"Sean." Finn gave me a, 'You're still lying' stare.
"Okay... There were these two guys who started shit with me... It was because I was..." Sean mumbled softly and sighed quietly. Finn waited for him to speak.
"It was because I was Mexican... He forced me to say shit in Spanish. Like, this isn't my country and I should go back to where I came from." Sean said while feeling a bit better telling him that.
"Fuckin' assholes man. This whole world is fucked. Why can't people just get along with one another? It's fuckin' childish." Finn said while sitting next to Sean.
"That's reality I guess... There's nothing we can do about it." Sean softly said while holding Finn's hand. Finn held his hand back.
"You should've woken me up.."
"But you seemed peaceful and looked so adorable in your sleep. You even mumbled my name~" Sean said teasingly while kissing his cheek, grinning. It was true, Finn mumbled a bit in his sleep. Finn blushed a bit and felt his face heat up.
"W-What? I did not!"
"Whatever you say, cariño (dear or darling). But just know that I'm not giving that up anytime soon." Sean chuckled softly and Finn playfully rolled his eyes, smiling a bit.
"Alright... But what does cariño mean..?" Finn asked softly while tilting his head a bit.
"It means dear or darling."
"Aww... I'm about to cry." Finn said while wiping a fake tear away. Sean snickered a bit and nudged his shoulder. Finn chuckled and kissed Sean's cheek gently.
"So, what's the plan?" Finn asked softly while looking at the map that was on the ground, under the lamp post.
"My plan is driving at least driving to Haven Point. That's where they are-" Sean rambled on about what to do and what there plan was. Finn listened and looked at the map, then at Sean. He couldn't take his eyes off him.
"Hello? Earth to Finn?"
"Huh? What?"
"Did you hear my plan?"
"Yeah! Of course I did!"
"Really?" Sean said while crossing his arms.
"Alright, then tell me what the plan was."
"Uhh.. First of, you said that we're going to Haven Point..?"
"Good. What else?"
"Uhh... Then we...drive there, get Daniel, and drive to Mexico..?"
"Not exactly, but it's slightly close." Sean laughed softly.
"As I was saying, we do drive to Haven Point, but earlier on the radio, they already put us out there, again. But so far, they haven't tracked us yet. We're good for now, but eventually we have to ditch the car, so no ride for us." Sean mumbled softly and looked back at Finn.
"It gets pretty hot here in Nevada, so we might have to walk it." Sean softly said while looking on the map, seeing that there was a gas station about an hour ahead on the road.
"I'm pretty sure it's not that bad, right?"
Sean gave him a slightly serious look.
"It gets up to 103°, Finn. It's going to be pretty hot." Sean said while grabbing the map.
"Goddamn.." Finn mumbled while standing up, holding his hand out to Sean. He took it gently, lifting himself up.
"Gave you a chance to stay at the hospital." Sean joked.
"Yeah, but I didn't want to leave you alone. Iloveyoutoomuchtoactuallystaybehind." Finn said really fast while mumbling a bit. Sean heard what Finn said, but he loved to tease the other.
"What was that my dear Finn?" Sean asked while nudging Finds shoulder gently.
"I didn't say anything.." Finn said, looking the other way.
"Anyway, let's get going before we get distracted." Finn said while walking towards the car, getting in the driver's seat.
"Do you even know how to drive?" Sean asked while getting in the passenger seat.
"Of course I do! I didn't live in the forest forever." Finn laughed softly and so did Sean. Finn watched Sean put the two wires together, so he did the same. The car started and he backed up the car, then driving on the road.
"Am I going the right way?"
"Yeah, your going the right way. Keep driving straight and we should arrive at a gas station on the left. Its an hour away." Sean said softly while yawning a bit.
"You should get some rest, sweetheart. I'll wake you when we get to the gas station." Finn said sweetly while smiling.
"Yeah, but you need someone to give you directions, right?"
Finn rolled his eyes playfully and took the map from Sean's hands, putting it on top of the dashboard.
"See? Problem solved. Get some sleep, cub. You're going to need it." Finn said softly while Sean nods.
"Real quick, can you hold this for me?" Sean asked while making a fist and decided to trick him into holding hands.
"Yeah, sure." Finn said while keeping his eyes on the road, holding his hand out. Sean put his hand into Finn's, holding his hand gently.
"Thank you." Sean grinned and Finn just chuckled a bit.
"Very smooth, Diaz." Finn smiled softly and held his hand. Sean chuckled quietly and leaned back on his seat. He closed his eye(s) and went to sleep fast.

~~~~~~~~1 hour later~~~~~~~

"Hey, sleeping beauty. We're here." Finn said very softly. Sean slowly woke up and looked around a bit. They were parked by the gas station.
"That was fast.."
"It's literally been an hour and a half, Sean." Finn said while chuckling a bit.
"Well... I like sleeping." Sean chuckled and noticed that he was still holding Finn's hand.
"Sorry.. Hope it didn't bother you that I held your hand the whole way here." Sean smiled softly and gently touched his bandage.
"Its completely fine. Earlier you held onto my arm." Finn said while grinning.
"W-What?! N-No I didn't!"
"You totally did! Didn't think of you as the snuggling type~" Finn teased while Sean blushed a bit.
"L-Let's just get more gas for the car!" Sean said quickly while grabbing his money from the glove department, getting out the car while sticking his tongue out playfully. Finn just smirked playfully and got out the car as well. They both walked towards the entrance, seeing a nice guy at the cash register, watching a movie or show on his phone.
"Alright.. Grab some snacks and some drinks, we're going to need it. I'll pay for the gas." Sean said softly while Finn nods a bit. Sean payed for the gas while Finn got the snacks and drinks.
The boy just continued watching his movie or show. Sean payed for the gas, which was $30 dollars. The random snacks Finn got, plus the drinks, lots of it, were only $26 dollars.
I'm total, we spent $56 dollars.

After we bought our stuff, Sean and Finn were walking out. That's when their faces turned a bit pale. A cop car drove in and parked there car on the other side of the gas pump. Sean felt his anxiety go up. Finn cleared his throat and felt his stomach drop.
"Sean, it's going to be okay... I bet they don't know yet. Just wait in the car and I'll put the gas in the car, alright?" Finn said so calmly, even though he was a bit nervous. Sean nods a bit and let out a soft shaky sigh. They both walked towards the car. Sean got in the driver's seat and felt his bandaged eye ache a bit, feeling a headache come on and off again. It wasn't his powers this time. He sighed softly while grabbing the stuff to clean his eye with.
Finn came back in the car and sighed in relief.
"Did they say anything to you?" Sean asked softly while putting the stuff down in the a cup holder.
"He just got gas and left. Luckily he went the other way." Finn smiled softly and noticed the cleaning stuff for Sean's eye. "Do you need help or...?" Finn asked softly while looking at him.
Sean shrugged and sighed a bit in relief as well. "I... I don't know. It's starting to ache a bit. The doctor said that I have to clean it every 4 hours. He showed me how to do it, but I'm not sure if you want to see it." Sean took a deep breathe and took the bandage off, looking in the mirror of the visor. He knew that he couldn't hide it forever, so he turned his head towards Finn slowly.
"Is it bad?"
Finn just let out a shaky breath and felt so bad. He felt like he let Sean down.
I was suppose to protect him... But instead I let him down...
That was all Finn was saying in his head.
"I'm... I'm so sorry Sean... I was suppose to protect you..." Finn felt a tear go down his face while cupping Sean's face.
"Finn... You didn't do this. It wasn't your fault." Sean cupped Finn's face and gently wiped away the tears that were slowly going down his face.
Finn couldn't help but feel more tears go down his face as Sean wiped them away.
"Shit... I'm crying like a baby..." Finn joked while laughing a bit. Sean chuckled softly and kissed his cheek.
"Your face is very warm." Sean smiled softly and cleaned his eye.

There was no one at the gas station except them. Sean then put a new bandage on there and felt more better.
"That should be good." Sean said softly while Finn smiled a bit.
"Well.. We got a long way ahead of us. It's about an 8 hour drive." Sean looked at the map and sighed softly.
"Ready?" Sean asked while looking over at Finn.
"Always." Finn replied and held Sean's hand, he held back.
And with that, they both smiled.
Sean started the car once more and drive off.
We're getting Daniel back no matter what. Family doesn't get left behind.
