"Ugh.. It feels so good to take a cold shower after a long walk." Sean mumbled softly while scrubbing his body with soap.
Finn on the other hand, already took a shower, put on clean clothes, and is now taking a small nap.

After taking a 25 minute shower, he stepped out and dried himself off with a dry, yet fluffy towel. He looked at himself in the foggy mirror. Seeing his bruised body, cuts on his face, and of course, his eye. It started to hurt a bit. He lost the cleaning stuff when these racist people took them. Oh how much Sean wished he could've used his powers, but he couldn't. He hated hurting people, but if it ever comes down to it, then he will.
Sean got dressed in his PJ's, since his clothes were dirty. Finn got some too. It looked adorable on him.
Karen on the other hand, went to go get food, med kit, do their laundry, and other things.
Sean looked in the mirror and saw his eye. He sighed.
"The more I look at it... It gets worse..." He mumbled to himself and put the bandage back over it.

Sean finally went out the bathroom, looking around the hotel room. He saw Finn sleeping, so he didn't want to wake him up. He was honestly tired as well, but he wanted to stay awake for a bit. He started to look around, he spotted a bag and peaked inside.
'i know I shouldn't peak inside but.. Aw.. Gross..'
Sean thought, seeing a condom on top. He also saw a dinner bill, and a notebook. He didn't look in there, so he moved on. There wasn't much to look at, so he just sighed and looked through his bag, grabbing his notebook. He took out a pencil and started drawing/writing.
We finally made it to Haven Point. But not what I really expected... Recently, I've been getting these, visions... I've been having nightmares as well... Sometimes I see things that aren't there. Or hear voices in my head. If anyone knew about this, they'd probably think I'm crazy or weird.

Sean drew creepy shadows in the background, spiders, inhuman people, and other things. But he stopped having them ever since they got to Haven Point. He didn't worry about them anymore. He put his notebook back in his bag and layed down on the bed, beside Finn. He tried to be careful, so he didn't wake him up. He layed on his back and closed his eyes.

~ 2 hour later ~

Sean and Finn jumped up a bit when they heard the door open.
"Shit, sorry. Didn't mean to wake you guys up." Karen said while putting bags on a nearby desk.
"Sorry it took so long. Fucking store was packed. How you guys feeling? Nothing broken? Alter boys don't fight fair."
"Yeah, I'm okay." Sean said softly while standing up.
Finn didn't know what to say or do, since this was kind of an awkward situation for the two.
"I'm fine. Thank you." Finn replied softly.
"That's good. I uh... Brought you boys double cheese burgers. With large fries." Karen said while handing then both bags.
"Got you some gauze.. And uh.. Some anti-bacteria stuff for your eye."
Sean didn't really say anything, only just stared at the ground.
"Thank you. For everything." Finn said softly while eating his fries first.
"You're welcome... I'll uh... Be outside. I need a smoke." Karen said softly while heading outside, closing the door.
"Fuck... Why does it have to be so awkward?" Sean said while putting his face in his hands.
"It doesn't have to be if you two just talked." Finn said while still eating his fries.
"Yeah! But... What am I suppose to say? Hey Karen, do you like the outdoors? Hey Karen, what's your favorite color? Hey Karen? Why did you leave us? Why did you leave dad? Why didn't you call us or even send us letters?" Sean got carried away when he saw everything almost float in the air, even Finn. At this point, Finn was used to it. He was sitting beside Sean while still eating his fries. Sean sighed softly and gently put everything down.
"Sorry... Got carried away again. It only happens when I'm mad."
"Yeah... I've noticed. Even back at the church. Does... Daniel know about your powers?" Finn asked while looking at Sean.
Sean shook his head a bit and looked at Finn.
"No... I can't tell him. What if he freaks out?"
"Daniel won't freak out. He had the same exact powers as you, he'll be completely fine with it."
"I hope so." Sean said softly while looking at his food. He was really hungry, but he didn't feel like eating.
"Hey Finn?"
"Yeah?"
"I'll be outside if you need me. I need to get some stuff off my chest."
"Alright, as long as you guys don't make it awkward anymore, like it was earlier."
Sean chuckled softly and kissed Finn's cheek.
"Yeah, yeah, I know." Sean smiled softly while Finn kissed Sean's forehead.
"I'll be in here if you need me."
"Roger that." Sean said softly while taking his food with him. He walked towards the door, opening it, and closing it behind him. Karen looked for a split second, then looked forward.
"Do you wanna talk now?"
"I didn't come out here for the weather." Sean replied while sitting on a chair beside Karen. He only ate his fries whims thinking to himself.
"You should eat your burger. You're skinny as hell." Karen spoke softly while taking a puff from her cigarette.
"Don't act like you care... It's too late for that. Where were you when I broke my leg when I was 13? Not with me... When Daniel got a bad flu a couple years ago, you didn't sleep next to him every night..." Sean continued while Karen looked off to the side, rubbing her arm a bit.
"Where were you?!" Sean said aloud while tears started swelling up.
"Where were you..?"
Karen sighed quietly.
"Fair enough. So let's talk. Because we do have to get your brother out of a cult."
"I'm listening."
"How did you two survive alone on the road got that long?"
"I thought I was asking questions."
"Sean... Please..."
Sean sighed softly and continued eating his fries.
"Dad taught me responsibility. He always wanted us to know how to take care of each other."
"Good. How did you go to Beaver Creek?"
"You know that I don't have to answer your questions, right?"
"You're right. So tell me what you want from me, Sean..."
"Nothing, Karen. I mean, what do YOU want from me? A fucking hug-?"
"Hey, I just want you to know what I did, and why. If you care... So... Ask me anything." Karen said softly, yet calmly.
Sean thought about it and sighed a bit, putting his food down.
"Alright... Why did you bail on us?"
Karen looked at Sean, than back at the ground.
"I wasn't meant to be a wife... or a mother. I thought I was suppose to. I tried to pretend for many years... but I was unhappy and the urge to leave just become unbearable. I had no other choice."
Sean tried to keep in his anger. He wanted to lash out and scream, but he knew if he did, he couldn't control it.
"Are you serious? You chose this life. You fell in love, you made your own choices. Right?"
"Making your own choices doesn't mean you can never fool yourself, Sean... After I had Daniel, you were about eight and Esteban's garage was getting busy. There was so much going on around me yet somehow I just... felt my own life was just slipping away... Felt like an empty shell." Karen replied softly while looking back up at him.
"Sean, it was the hardest decision I ever made. I knew I might never see you all again, but I took that responsibility."
"Did dad know about all of this?"
"I was honest with your father. We did family therapy, but... it wasn't about him. It was me."
"He was heartbroken for months after you left. Years."
"I was too. I was in love with your father. He was the best person I ever met-"
"But just not enough for you..."
"Something that was missing from the equation, yeah. I was."
Sean felt so mad, he just really needed to smoke, but he didn't have any cigarettes.
He sighed and shrugged.
"So what exactly are you doing in Nevada? You live around here?"
"No, I'm way out in Arizona." Karen said softly while taking a puff from her cigarette.
"Sean, I told you. Your friend Jacob wrote my P.O. Box and said Daniel was in trouble. That's it."
"Psh... Arizona? Holy shit... it's just lizards and rocks."
"Guess I found something there." Karen said while gently kicking the ground.
"New York didn't really do me good, so..." Karen shrugged a bit and shook her head.
"Yeah, I think I heard enough."
"I didn't have a choice, Sean. We only have one life and I didn't want mine to be spent in regrets."
"We only have one life and mines already fucked. But I got people who I really care about, and I won't abandon them. I'll protect them with my life. I'll even put my life on the line for them." Sean spoke while looking at the ground. Karen didn't say anything.
"For years I've fooled myself, thinking of find satisfaction into what society expected me to be, and that was my mistake. I hope someday you can understand that... But I never stopped caring about you... Forwhat it's worth, I am sorry for hurting you and Daniel... And Esteban." Sean understands, he misses his mother so much. He just wanted to jump into her arms and feel her warmth again. But...
"I know you are, Karen. That still doesn't change the way I feel..."
"Of course not, I know I can't changethe past, Sean."
Sean shook his head while looking at the sky.
"I don't think you would." Sean mumbled while watching the birds fly by.
They stayed like that for about 5 minutes, than finally...
"Sean, whatever you want to say to me... this is the time. Let's just... get it all out in the open, see what happens."
Sean let out a small, shaky sigh and looked back at the ground.
