You're always so stone-cold, stoic, and wordless. But when that spark ignites at the cost of those you love, you leave yourself ever so vulnerable, and that's when you lose yourself... to yourself.

Morosely responsible for all that's there you can endure for. You are harsh, yet you found the courage to spare lives.

Have you ever thought of breaking down at the nadir of your sufferings? Have you ever thought of putting out your fire with a dash of gleaming tears?

Your quiet pierces through the leveling storm, pierces before a drop of solace from the corner of your eye. Hailed you are, Child of the Sun, the Sole Successor of peace and harmony. No Jeweled Scepter is worth more than a life to be loved.

I speak nothing of poignancy, but consider yourself blessed.

To be able to self-mobilize, to be able to find happiness and know that you can still bloom, that is something I can never see because reality is a cavernous concept lost in space and time.

And thus, I wish I was you. Your iridescent gracefulness highlights my flaws, and what I must do to succeed in life.

May the light find your rest.

It was only when we sat on the bed had I managed to explain to Blaze about everything that's going on in my world so far. And for the "Infinite" time must I clarify that she is a video game character in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise and that her existence was never a thing in the first place. She was always a part of a video game series. And what's weird was that I didn't even introduce myself to her until after I finished explaining her whereabouts. I mean, it's just a name, and it wouldn't have mattered too much for her anyway. Unlike her friends made back home where she was able to constantly commit to through interdimensional traveling, this place wasn't meant for her to stay in.

Anyway, the beans I'd spilled absolutely bamboozled her, to be seen as a non-existent being elsewhere, to be treated as a pixelated figure made with a bit of vivid imagination... None of these, according to her logic, made any sense.

"I was born to a royal family, but to think that in an alternate dimension that this was all a mere setup...?" She shook her head. "I was never meant to be real?"

'Well yeah, if you think it in that way then it kinda hurts.' I nearly blurted out.

And did I forget to mention that she was much taller than her supposed height in the games? When I stood up to face her, I wasn't much taller than she was even without her hair plumes. The last time I checked my height was five foot eleven, and assuming my growth spurt has ended, Blaze is currently almost as tall as I am. Although her chest and bust remained the same the more I looked into them-

Ahem! She cleared her throat, even though her voice seemed perfectly fine. From what I've known, most of the Sonic cast never caught a cold or fell ill in the games at least. Blaze, having so little shown in her biography as a video game character, definitely wasn't one of the exceptions. So why was she coughing?

Then I realized how attentive I was to the details of body parts, which, I had to say, are pretty much off-limits for any girls. "Oh..." I accidentally said out loud, making her wince in disgust.

"Hmph..." With a swift motion, Blaze instantly crossed her legs.

Oh God, why do I keep making these dumbass mistakes that piss off nearly every girl I've ever talked to?! But as for this one, I suddenly had the feeling of knowing what to say next.

"I'm, terribly sorry for 'dozing off'." My Adam's apple squatted for a long second. "But just as your Japanese biography said, you are pretty sensitive about your body. Makes sense why you're always wearing that purple coat of yours, besides keeping your flames in check."
