Mae's POV

I found myself in the same field as yesterday but instead of the different colors of flowers that beautify the place, everything was just green this time around like green pastures. I had a dream about this place yesterday but all I could remember of the dream was resting here and doing nothing else.

I was breathing in the heavenly scents of the field as usual. I sat on the grass and it seemed I was waiting for someone or something but I couldn't place what it was.

I heard my name, I sat up and looked towards the direction of where the voice came from, who could be calling me?
When I looked back I saw my grams, I was so happy to see her after all this while, it has been so long we last seen each other before she passed on.

She motioned at me to come to her, she was smiling, she looked radiant and was dressed in a very light blue neck to floor dress, her hair was more whiter than the last time.

"Walk with me my child, you have to drink out of the water you drank from yesterday so as to remember all of our previous discussions, the water serves as the opener of the memory's veil."

I don't understand what she was saying and what did she mean by I drank out of the water yesterday, had we met before now?

We started walking for some minutes, we walked towards a beautiful water falls, the water was crystal clear, something was drawing me to drink out of the water.

"Go on, go ahead and drink out of it, then you will remember our last encounter" I looked at her before moving towards the water, I stood before one of the water fall and cupped my hands to drink out of the water. Immediately I drank out of the water, memories started flooding my senses, I remembered last night with my grams, after those memories I opened my eyes, that was when I knew my eyes were closed, I walked towards my grams

"Now do you remember our last encounter?" she started walking back to the direction we came from.

"Yes grams I do" I also started walking to meet up with her. When we got to the field, we sat on the grass.

"how are you doing?" she gently asked

"I'm doing fine so far, I'm just glad you fulfilled your promise, and grams the water I drank earlier what's with it and what's this place exactly?" she smiled

"This place is called 'the kilawqui' in the other world's tongue meaning 'the meeting square' "

"The meeting square?"

"The dead witches meet with the person they wish to see in the person's dream, just as the way I have been meeting with you, it's closer to the gate separating the two sides. Mind you this offer is only open to witches, ordinary people aren't given the opportunity but with power of dead witches who weren't able to finish some tasks or missions before they died, they came up with this place through spells"

"So you mean it's only those that were witches are able to communicate with those alive"

"Exactly"
