I remember coming back to camp, telling Dutch the news about Arthur. He actually cried.

I remember going to sleep in Arthur cot that night. But now I'm in my tent.

I get dressed, then open the flap of my tent to see the camp lively as ever.

What the hell? Arthur just died.. tears threatened to fall again.

"Aye. Miss Monroe?" Bill approached, wearing Pearson's shirt once again.

"Don't tell me you ruined your shirt again."

"Hey...how'd you know?" He questioned suspiciously.

"Really Mr Williamson..as if I-"

"Bill.. Miss Monroe." Arthur walked by, tipping his hat with a greet.

"Arthur!?" I screamed. Happiness filled me. I ran to him, throwing my arms around his thick neck and hugging him tightly. "Oh Arthur! You're alive!" I squealed, letting go to look at him.

He eyed me suspiciously as well, his handsome face wore a blush. "Yeah..I am. You alright?" He asked, concerned.

I laughed, a happy and relieved laugh. "I'm more than alright! I'm wonderful." I grabbed both sides of his face and kissed his forehead.

"Uh.. thank you Isabella but-" I stopped him right where he was.

"No Arthur, don't ruin it while you're ahead." I warned, leaving him to wonder.

I thanked God that he's alive! I had forgotten the 5 chances but boy am I happy I've got them!

I noticed as I returned to my tent that everyone was watching me with happy smiles or amused smirks. i grabbed the dress I wore yesterday and headed towards the girls. Tilly and Mary-Beth giggled and winked at me as I joined them by the water. They were scrubbing clothes, singing and talking before I joined. Now they were watching me, smiles from ear to ear on their pretty faces.

"We saw you Bella." Tilly giggled.

"If you only knew the hell I've been through the last day you'd understand." I say, plopping down on the boulder beside them. I tossed Tilly my dress, she threw in the small pile she had beside her.

"Hell.. hah! Seems like heaven to me." Mary-Beth chided, a her pretty smile aimed at me.

"Oh no Mary-Beth. Don't confuse heaven with pure heart break and shock." I assure her.

"Seems awfully-"

"Romantic." Tilly finishes her words and we all laugh.

The relief I felt today has literally lifted my spirits. I turned to see Arthur drinking some coffee, watching me.

I turned away, a smile on my lips. I will not fail.

Short but I wanted to show y'all that he's alive and I couldn't wait and leave you hangin like that lol.
