Chapter 9

Sunday morning was bright and sunny. The sun's glow filtered through Baekhyun's blinds and onto said sleeping make.

Chanyeol blinked a couple of times, trying to adjust to the bright sun, that was currently attacking his face with its warmth.

The tall, big-eared male gazed at his beautiful boyfriend. The sun accentuated Baekhyun's flawless face. Chanyeol just started at Baekhyun's raven lashes that fluttered slightly in his sleep.

The tall male constantly questioned himself, how did he end up with a male as beautiful and as kindhearted as Byun Baekhyun, his sunshine and, whom he is certain, his other half.

Despite only having been dating for four days, Chanyeol could confidently say that he was utterly enthralled by the beautiful human that is his boyfriend.

As Chanyeol's glinting gaze remained on the small male beside him, he thought back to the previous night.

Dinner with the Byun's had gone better than either of the boys could imagine. Once they had all been seated at the table, Chanyeol had told Mrs Byun about him dating Baekhyun and she was extremely happy for the two males.

Once the dinner was over, Chanyeol and Baekhyun washed the dishes, and themselves, before snuggling together in Baekhyun's old bedroom.

Baekhyun's eyes slowly fluttered open and landed on his tall boyfriend, who seemed to be in a daze. "Good morning Channie." Chanyeol shook his head slightly, ridding himself of his thoughts before looking into Baekhyun's eyes and smiling. "Good morning, baby. Sleep well?" Baekhyun nodded slowly, sitting up slightly and placing Chanyeol's head in his lap.

"I forgot how comfy my old bed was." Baekhyun laughed slightly as he brushed his fingers through Chanyeol's raven hair. "I wanna take you out into the town." Chanyeol nuzzled his head into Baekhyun's fingers as if to say yes.

Stepping off the bus, Baekhyun wanted to give Chanyeol the full Bucheon experience which meant no cars. The two males made their way towards the large mall in the centre, hand in hand.

"Channie look! Here are some places we can come to for lunch later." Chanyeol nodded, tightening his hold on Baekhyun's hand. "What's your favourite food babe?"

"Mmm... I dunno, but I do really like chicken bibimbap." (AN// Good food y'all's)

"Oh, I like that too, my favourite is probably tteokbokki though."

The two males browsed around the shopping centre hand in hand, gazing at various different stores.

"Baekkie, can we head over to CEX? (AN// The home of my D.S games) I wanna check for a movie." Baekhyun nodded a yes, as they strolled over towards Chanyeol's desired destination.

"Excuse me, do you have zootopia here?"

"Yes sir, please follow me."

The two males, no longer holding hands, followed the shop assistant to the back of the store. "I believe this is what you wanted sir?" Chanyeol nodded eagerly and walked towards the cashier with the sales assistant, Baekhyun trailing behind them.

"This your little brother? You buying the movie for him?"

"Uh no, he's not." Chanyeol smiled awkwardly, unsure of what to say.

"Ahh, good friends. Real friends are together thick and thin, it's nice y'all are close."

Chanyeol muttered a 'thanks' before grabbing his purchased DVD. "By the way, could I have your number?" The sales lady smiled at the tall male, eyelashes fluttering as she smiled up at him. Baekhyun's heart hurt a bit more. Chanyeol never admitted to the woman that they were dating. Maybe he wasn't really proud or something.

"I'm really sorry." Chanyeol wrapped his arm around Baekhyun's waist and pulled him forward. "But I don't think my boyfriend would like that." Chanyeol took the receipt from the lady, before tightening his hold around Baekhyun and leading them to a Subway for lunch.

Baekhyun and Chanyeol settled into a small booth at the Subway, in the mall. "What do you want, B? I'll get our orders."

"Hmm... I'll get whatever you get. But no cucumbers whatsoever!" Chanyeol laughed at Baekhyun's hatred for the green vegetable. Baekhyun had expressed his hatred at dinner the previous night when his mother asked him if he wanted any.

Once Chanyeol had returned with their orders, both hungry males dug into their food. "Where are we going next, Baek?" Baekhyun quickly chewed his seeded bread and swallowed it. "I kinda wanna check for some clothes in New Look, Primark maybe TK MAXX and stuff." (AN// UK boiss.) Chanyeol simply nodded at his boyfriend, as he continued to eat his meal.

Once Chanyeol had finished his meal, he wiped off any residue of food from around his face, so he could still look handsome for Baekhyun. "Uh, Baek, you got a little something." Chanyeol stretched over the small wooden table and swiped of a few crumbs from Baekhyun's upper lip, with his thumb.

Baekhyun's lip twitched slightly, from the warmth of Chanyeol's soft thumb. His lip quirked up in a small smile as Chanyeol smiled down at him. With a small move to the edge of his seat Baekhyun had pressed his soft lips against Chanyeol's slightly larger ones. Chanyeol's lips quirked up into a smile, matching Baekhyun's.

Chanyeol pulled back from their short kiss, his smile even bigger now. Baekhyun sat back in his seat, cheeks flushed a light pink. "I sure enjoyed lunch, especially dessert. What about you, baby?" Baekhyun looked down at his hands, cheeks getting darker, he nodded a yes to Chanyeol's question. Chanyeol just giggled at his shy boyfriend before sliding out of their booth and waiting for Baekhyun.

The rest of their shopping day was fun. Baekhyun visited a few shops and bought himself a few new outfits, which he wanted to use for future dates with Chanyeol. Chanyeol even suggested the idea of buying matching shirts so they had a, sort of, matching couples outfit. Baekhyun was very enthusiastic about it and picked up two baby blue tops which featured Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. Baekhyun had always been a fan of Minnie and felt no embarrassment in wearing a shirt of her.

"Those are cute Baekkie. You'll always be the Minnie to my Mickey, I guess." Baekhyun smiled coyly before running to the cashier, his tall boyfriend, in tow admiring the running boy.

AN// I'm so, so sorry for not updating in over a month. This chapter's been in draft for the whole time, but I never got to finishing it. At least ChanBaek are happy
