- HOSPITAL, Tuesday, 3:00 AM -
We stay silent for a while, before we have to go back inside the room.
I take a glance at Normani, still lying there.
But in the distance, I can see her eyes fluttering open.
I ran over to her, and announced myself.
"Norms?" I brush her hair to the side.
Her eyes widen for a second, before looking everywhere to her surprise.
"A-Ashton...Where am I?" She looks around, seeing Laura.
"You're in the hospital. We took you here." I answer, stroking her soft hair.
"We're glad you're okay, Normani." Laura states, sitting on the chair beside the bed.
"I'm Laura by the way, Ashton's friend." She places out her hand, to shake hers.
"G-good to meet you. But I thought you had a date?" She turns to me as she shakes her hand.
I scratch my neck in embarrassment.
"Erm...It's better if we stay off as best friends." My face turns red.
We started laughing at each other.
I'm glad she's still here.
I wish this would last forever.
