Emma's POV-

We walked up the drive of the Dolan residence. Their house was so beautiful and a lot bigger than mine and Moms. White bricks built up two levels on the outside, with large perfectly clean glass windows. There was a beautiful large yellow door that immediately caught your attention, flowers alongside the door frame that Lisa had planted. She was really into gardening. She had planted some beautiful flowers leading up the path, lit by the small lanterns she had placed along the pavement. The large front door opened into their mansion of a house and the large spiral staircase was on display. The ceilings were high and and echo could be heard whenever a loud sound was made in the house. Marble floors leading into every room, luxurious materials covering every piece of furniture. Glass sculptures and rare artefacts placed upon hard wood surfaces.
And happy family pictures hung on every wall.

My Mother rung the doorbell and I twiddled my thumbs, staring at the chipped blue nail polish. The yellow door swung open and there stood Grayson. My eyes started to well up as I looked into his eyes, his arms were wide open. I ran into his arms and he held me so close, lifting my feet off the ground slightly as his bear arms wrapped around me. I had missed him so much.
"I've missed you so much Em." He said digging his head into the crook of my neck as I wrapped my arms around his neck. His hot breath was fanning close to my neck and it felt so comforting to be in his arms again.
"I've missed you more." I whispered.
His arms loosened From around my waist and I let go of his neck, standing back on my own two feet.
"Im so glad you're- holy shit you've grown up.." He said shocked. Looking me up and down.
"We just hugged for like 12 seconds and you didn't notice?" I laughed as he let me and my mother in.
"Honey I'm going to go see Lisa." My mother said waking Into the kitchen.
"Lynn- you- Wow." Grayson said still staring at me. I felt my cheeks heat up and suddenly I was super embarrassed.
"Dude seriously I'm not that grown up." I said rubbing the back of my neck.
"You- uh- really are. You look like a woman."
"Well thanks?" I laughed. "You haven't done so bad yourself Grayson, you hit mad puberty."
"Oh Shut it." He hit my arm.
"Ahhhh!!! EMMA!!" Lisa ran in, followed by Sean.
She wrapped her arms around me, her beautiful curls hitting my face. "How was Spain?" She smiled pulling away.
"It was amazing, hot though."
"Yeah I can tell, you look all sunkissed and model like."
"Thank you Lisa." I chuckled. "Hi Sean." I said looking over at him.
"Hey kiddo." He said wrapping his big arms to give me a nice bear hug. "You been good?" He said rubbing his chuckles against the top of my head.
"Owww.." I laughed. "Y-Yeah I've been good." I pulled away.
"Seriously how grown up is she?" Lisa said.
"For real you look like a different person." Grayson agreed.
I panned my eyes around the room, we were all here except Ethan.
"Where's E?" I asked.
"Oh has he not come down yet, hold on I'll go get him." Lisa said.
"Oh no it's cool, gray wanna walk me up?"
"Yeah sure." He said and we headed for the stairs.

We reached Ethan's door and I burst in. Without hesitation. I just couldn't wait to see my best friend.
"Hey hey h-" I shouted Running in, stopping when I noticed a girl sat on his bed. Kissing him.
He pulled away, his face in shock when he noticed it was me at the door.
"Emma?" He said. His face dropped.
I was speechless. I just nodded. He jumped up from the bed and wrapped his arms around me. "You look- Holy shit- you look so different ..." he whispered in my ear.
"Uh huh." I said, still trying to process what had just happened. "So who's this?" I swallowed.
He pulled away, his face red from embarrassment.
"Uh-" he began scratching his neck.
"You didn't tell her did you?" Grayson said from behind me. I looked at gray who was now rolling his eyes and hugging in annoyance.
"Tell me what?" I asked.
"Dude I just-" Ethan stuttered.
"Hi I'm Olivia." The girl interrupted.
Olivia?
Who in the heck is Olivia?
"Uh-Olivia?" I questioned.
"I'm Ethan's girlfriend." She stated.
Girlfriend? Ethan has a girlfriend? He never told me.
I looked up and saw Ethan's face drop, he was looking at me in the eyes, deep. Waiting for my response.
"Hi I'm Emma." I stuttered, showing Ethan that I was not bothered.
But really I was. Something about me was deeply affected by the fact he had a girlfriend.
"Cmon Em." Grayson said taking my hand. "Let's go to my room." He pulled me away from Ethan's room. Leaving him shocked and speechless.
