I woke up to a buzz on my chest.
I glanced at my phone and saw Ethans name pop up

Ethan - hey do you mind if I pop over? X

My eyes widened and I was shocked.

Me - Uhhh sure?

He read it and I looked back over at gray, who was still napping. Gray was facing the celling and his mouth was slightly agape, small snorts escaping his nose. I smiled at him. He looked funny.
I took a picture of him and saved it to my library. Its was 3 and we'd been asleep for an hour.

I began watching the television again until Ethan arrived.

Ethan - I'm outside

Me - let yourself in, we're in my room.

I heard the front door shut and footsteps going up the stairs.
There was a knock at my door and the door handle turned.
His head peered round the door and I smiled as he looked at us.
His eyes were red and puffy, his cheeks blush.
"Sorry, am I interrupting?" He said noticing me and gray, cuddled on my bed.
Gets legs were still wrapped tightly around my thighs. I was still running my hand through his hair.
I could see how he would be put off by walking in.
"No, he's just sleeping. Come sit." I said patting a space next to me on the bed.
He hesitantly walked over and perched himself down next to me.
"You okay? Have you been crying?" I asked noticing how swollen his eyes were.
"Um, it doesn't really matter. How are you?" He said brushing it off. But he wasn't getting away that easy.
"I'm good. But Ethan tell me what's wrong?"
"Nothing." He shrugged his shoulders.
"Seriously Ethan? When did our friendship become this? You don't talk to me? You can't even tell me when you're upset?"
"It's just- I'm sorry." He looked down at his hands and twiddled his thumbs.
"Why?"
He took a deep breath in and sighed. "I've been such a shit friend to you. I've put Liv before you and it was wrong of me." He said talking slightly louder.
"Ssshhh grays sleeping." I placed a finger over his mouth. He paused for a second and so did eye. The contact with his mouth made goosebumps run over my skin. I quickly removed my finger and my cheeks heated up. I looked down slightly embarrassed.
"I just miss you" He said finally.
I missed him too.
"And I think the Uh- the kiss- really messed my head Yano? I was so confused and I missed you and I let my feelings get the better of me. I miss you Emma and I want to be best friends again. I miss watching the office with you, Olivia hates the office. I miss everything about you. I just what you back. I lov- you're my best friend." He said. His face red realising what he almost just said.
My heart stopped.
"I love you too Ethan." I smiled and rested my head on his shoulder. "And I forgive you."

Graysons POV -

My eyes started to open and I began letting them adjust. I realised that I was still led on Emma's legs. I was about to move when I heard another voice.
It was Ethan.
"....I lov- You're my best friend."
"I love you too." Emma answered.
She loved him?
Why?
He was with Olivia.
"And I forgive you." She said again.
I felt a slight move and I'm guessing they were hugging or something.
Did she really love him?
I started to move and fake wake up.
I moaned against her legs to signal that I was awakening.
"Hey gray." She said running her hands through my hair again.
I looked over at her and Ethan. She had her head rested on his shoulder.
"Mmmm." I said gripping into her legs tighter.
I looked at Ethan and his jaw was clenching. I knew I was making him jealous.
"I love it when you play with my hair." I said to her.
"I love playing with your hair." She answered giggling. I smiled at her and Ethan, who didn't look impressed.
"What are we getting for dinner Gray?" She asked.
"Order pizza? Chill in bed?" I answered.
"Sounds good to me. Are you staying Eth?"
"Uh- I don't want to intrude."
"Oh please you're not intruding, just make sure it's okay with Olivia."
"Um- that's what I wanted to tell you. Me and Olivia kinda broke up today."

He was here to try and win her back.
He still liked her and he knew it.
"Oh my god Ethan I'm so sorry." She said.
I sat up from her legs and led in between her legs, resting my head on her chest.
"Yeah man that's shit." I said.
"Someone's clingy today." She laughed.
"Mmmmmm I just missed you." I smiled into her tummy and I wrapped my arms around her torso.
"I missed you too." She smiled, kissing the top of my head.
"So have you too had a good day?" Ethan asked awkwardly, trying to change convo.
If by good day he meant sharing a day with the girl I've known my whole life who I think I possibly like a little bit, sharing a kiss and taking a nap together,
Then yeah. I'd say it's been a pretty good day

"Yeah it's been lovely." She answered. I lifted my head and looked up at her.
I pulled a smirk so she knew what I was referring to.
"It's been amazing." I smiled.
Her face blushed and she was clearly embarrassed. Although I did See the corner of her Mouth lift a bit, almost into a smirk.
"Oh- that's good" Ethan said, his face dropping.
"Shall we order some food now?" Emma asked.
"Yeah, sure what pizza we getting?" I asked.
