Ethan's POV -

The whole of maths and science I couldn't stop panicking. I really hope Olivia didn't tell her, or would never tell her. I never even realised they were good friends. Maybe Olivia was doing this to get at me?
No. She's not that type of person. Right?

"Ethan?!" Mr Broad shouted at me. I snapped out of my trance and noticed the whole class staring at me.
"Yeah?" I said.
"I asked you a question."
"Didn't hear you."
"Well pay attention then!" He shouted "whats 47 times 67?"
"I don't know 4?" I answered, earning a round of laughter from the other students.
"3149 Mr Dolan!! 3147. Now pay attention or you can leave!"
"Cool." I sat back in my chair. Still not really listening.
Mr broad continued on with his lesson. Leaving me alone. Thank god. But I was still stuck in my thoughts. I couldn't lose Emma. I've wanted to be with her since we were little. I've loved her for years. She was the most important person in my life. I couldn't lose her.

Emma's POV -

"Hey you wanna sit with us at lunch?" Olivia asked as the class ended. I grabbed my books off the Table and began walking out. "Sorry, I promised E I'd sit with him. Well he promised me but still, maybe tomorrow?"
"Yeah of course. Invite is always open." She smiled. She was actually so nice. We'd obviously got off to the wrong start and id misjudged her.
But it still felt weird hanging out with Ethan's Ex.

"Hey, what you doing on Friday night?" She asked me.
"Uh, Nothing I don't think." I answered.
"Wanna stay? My parents are away for the weekend and I hate being home alone."
I was confused at the offer. But she was clearly trying to make an effort to make me feel welcome.
"Uh yeah, sounds great."
"We can talk about Ethan!!" She giggled.
"Uhhh.." I furrowed my eyebrows at the thoughts of that awfully uncomfortable conversation about the boy she once dated and the one I am currently dating.
"Joking!!" She chuckled, to my relief.
"Haha, I knew that!" I laughed, walking out of the room, once again to be greeted by Ethan.
"Well this is my que." I said to her and I walked over.
"See you in 4th!!" She smiled, walking off towards other girls.
"Hey gorgeous." I walked over to Ethan who seemed tense. I kissed his lips and noticed him loosen up a little. "What's up?" I asked.
"Uh- Nothing. You good?" He said.
"Yeah." I gleamed.
"Good. Shall we go?" He asked, when I placed our hands together.
I nodded. Following him towards the cafeteria.

"Ew, just as I remember." I said, smelling the food as we walked in.
"Yep, lucky your mum made you lunch eh?"
"Certainly is."
We wandered over towards a table of people , where I noticed Grayson and Amanda.

"Guys this is Emma, you remember her right?" Ethan asked his friends.
"Yeh, the girl who's got you whipped!" One of them laughed.
"Hey!! Shut it!!" Amanda hit him on the arm and smiled at me, I smiled back.
"Yeah we all remember her." Another said, even tho I was finding it hard remembering them.
"How does it feel to be back?" A boy asked.
"Good actually." I answered as we sat down.
"Is Ethan any good in bed?" Another asked giggling. And bunch of whoas and shut ups filled the air as everyone faces fell into shock. "Jokes!!" He laughed.
"I wouldn't know anyways, he doesn't put out." I joked.
They all fell into a fit of laughter as Ethan even smirked at my comment. "Shut it. You know I would right now if you wanted to." He whispered in my ear.
I smiled at him. Knowing although he wanted to, he would wait until I was ready. Especially after the first incident.
"So I heard you and Olivia were hanging earlier." Amanda said moving her seat next to mine.

"Yeah She was in a few of my classes, she actually really sweet." I looked up at Ethan who's face had completely changed. I felt like maybe I'd made him uncomfortable by being close with her. Which I completely understand.
"Just be careful hun. She has a bad reputation. And you know, she's Ethan's ex." Amanda said. " I love the bitch, but truthfully she's bad news."
"Nothing I can't handle." I answered. "Plus we sorted out our differences and there are no grudges."
"That's not like Liv. But it's your life." She said, concerning me.
